As is typical for many agricultural tools, this Japanese knife is extremely simple but the result of a secular improvement that has found difficult balance between form and function, and between cost and benefit.
The main feature is definitely the quality of the blade, in fact, uses a stainless San Mai to three layers of which the middle one rough.
It has a razor wire, as is appropriate for a tool to cut and not just born to be displayed in glass cases.
