But I'm sure you can't wait to get to know this MKM Flame Light, let's get started!
First, let's describe its structure and parts.
Opening the beautiful cardboard box with MKM branding in colour and including the warranty seal, we find a beautiful Cordura sheath with belt loops and embroidered branding.
Opening its secure and convenient zip we can see that inside there are two compartments. In one we find the knife bagged in a small plastic bag, in the other we find the knife sheet with a handy spanner with two sizes at its ends needed to remove the stainless steel torx screws with which the knife parts are fixed.
Once opened with its very smooth flipper opening thanks to the ball bearing rotation mechanism, we notice that it is equipped with a liner lock. The dagger point blade made of BöHLER M390 steel has a stone washed finish.
The grips in this case are made of black Micarta, the clip of stonewashed stainless steel and the ring on the central pivot is made of anodised titanium.

Let us come to my general considerations.
This Flame Light, just like a 'flame light', I find it illuminating!
Its compact and lightweight design make it suitable for space-saving transport and not at all burdensome in terms of weight.
Disarmingly practical, very agile in the hand, manageable, a really smart sports knife.
The flipper system is smooth, despite the low weight of the blade (and therefore the little kinetic energy that can be developed) it manages to complete its entire opening angle without ever a hitch.
The two guards that act as levers for opening are just the right size to allow optimal opening, act as guards during use and once closed be discreet and never uncomfortable or annoying.
The Linear lock has a knurling that considerably increases grip, the cheek opposite it has a milling to easily accommodate the finger that will press the line lock for the closing action.
The clip has just the right amount of retention tension and elasticity to allow it to be clipped onto clothing of various thicknesses without having to exaggerate with the pressure and making a secure hold.
Overall, I liked this Flame Light more than most. Despite being a sporty knife it has such a class that for personal taste it also makes it a gentleman knife, but with tough character.
Very well finished, with state-of-the-art technology and top-quality materials. Evaluating its innovative design and listed qualities, a connoisseur cannot go wrong in identifying the brand, MKM!
It has simply now become my new EDC knife, because it mixes functionality and style!
