Specific knife for cutting bread. Thanks to the presence of the indentation on the edge of the blade, the cut remains more durable even in contact with the usually very hard bread crust (on which a normal knife would lose the edge almost immediately).

The realization of a WUSTHOF forged knife requires the passage of about 40 processing cycles.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance prolongs the life of the knife, makes work easier and safer and reduces the consumption of the wire. Some advices:

- Pay attention that the knives placed in the dishwasher bump other objects; the blades could be damaged.

- Knives guaranteed for dishwashers that are not immediately washed in the machine should be rinsed under the water tap to remove the remains of highly corrosive foods (fats, vinegar, fruit juices).

- Make sure if the knives no longer cut perfectly, have them rectified or sharpened by professionals in the sector.

The Kudu Hunter fixed-blade knife offers an excellent balance between form and function: the wide drop point blade is reminiscent of its predecessor model Harpoon, but without the dedicated thumb rest. Consigli has long linked its business to supplies for Sardinia, so much so that their Pattada have now become "Sardinian by adoption".

This knife owes its name to the blunt tip which is absolutely missing as if the blade had been cut off.
Pointless knives became much more widespread with the "Giolitti law" of 1908 which fixed the length of the blade of pointed knives at only four centimeters.
For mozzette, the limit rose to ten centimeters, offering the possibility of safely carrying a knife of sufficient size in your pocket without risking the rigors of the law.
