Katla, designed by Jesper Voxnaes, is a liner lock folding knife, which brings back the Tanto profile blade with a bevel that enhances the excellent cutting qualities.

The rotation mechanism is provided by thrust bearings, and it can be opened with either the double thumb stud or the very fast flipper.

The detail that characterizes the Katla is the 3D processing of the handle at both ends of the bolster, which reinterprets in a modern way, the inlays of the classic Viper models.

The flat edges and the titanium clip allow for comfortable and discreet carry.

The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is a new knife, based on the Ti-Rock project, a successful frame-lock knife made by Extrema Ratio in 2016 exclusively for Coltelleria Collini.

The Extreme Ratio Frame Rock is characterized by a titanium handle that offers great resistance while being very light. The integrity of the frame-lock system is guaranteed against wear by an easily replaceable hardened steel insert.

Unlike its drop-point predecessor, the Rock frame has a 75mm long, 6.0mm thick spearpoint blade fitted with a fuller for further lightening. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat treated to a hardness of 58 HRC. The same is available with a black finish with DLC treatment or satin.

To make opening even more fluid and without uncertainty, the blade rotates on ball bearings. This mechanism allows the user to adjust the force necessary to obtain the release of the blade from the closed position.

The shape of the reversible clip allows a hidden port in the pocket, making the knife not visible from the outside. The large and solid handle and the well-proportioned blade allow this knife to tackle heavy tasks. The Frame Rock weighs less than 200g, making it somewhat light for such a sturdy knife. Comes inside an ABS box.

Rolled steel - imported into Italy from Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the lateral coating (Stainless Steel).

- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the outer layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves the corrosion resistance even on the wire.

- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although normally the steel becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multi-layer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

- Improvement of the aesthetic rendering
The knives made with multistate steel or with damask pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.

The "Roman" testifies to the widespread mentality in the Papal States for which the knife was considered as a faithful friend to be constantly worn "in his pocket" and to be unleashed at the first hint of a fight or for an immediate response.

Many elements constituting the "Roman" bear witness to the offensive use that distinguished this knife: the sharp blade, the decorations of the lattice handle or fish bone that served to improve the grip, the locking system with fixed spring that prevented the knife could close up accidentally and that at the time of the opening emitted a dry noise that exalted the aggressive expression.
