WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION is a limited series version of only 150 pieces that keeps all the features of the famous Waki model intact.

This product is an elaboration of the Japanese Wakizashi sword, a typical blade 30 to 60 centimeters long, which the Samurai always carried in contact with the body, where the Katana was carried exclusively in battle.

The blade has the classic Japanese Tanto profile and is made of Böhler N690 steel with heat treatments that raise its hardness to 58 HRC for the best combination of edge hold and strength. The blade, with flat rounding, features a precious satin finish.

Extrema Ratio Misericordia Black Warfare is a version in a limited series of only 500 pieces that preserves intact all the features of the famous Misericordia model adopted by the 4th Alpine Parachute Regiment, which helped develop and test the product and chose it for its unique characteristics that make it particularly suitable for ambush combat.

Japanese steel merges with Italian excellence

For this 2019/2020 collaboration, exclusive to Collini Cutlery, we have decided to offer a series of best sellers produced by Extrema Ratio. Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by the Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, for the central sheet we used the carbonaceous V-Toku2 at 62 / 63HRC and the stainless SUS410 for the two external sheets, in order to guarantee a very high cutting, penetration and sealing capacity of the wire together with an ease of regrinding and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of foreign steel and the laminated structure.

SHRAPNEL OG model: for this First Production Run, a circulation of 10 pieces numbered from 1 to 10 was produced.

SHRAPNEL OG is a truly multi-purpose "back-up", with strong combat attitudes. The leaf blade is characterized by a wide flat winding, with a narrow sharpening angle which makes it particularly sharp. Rolled steel - imported into Italy from Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. Already in 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths in fact combined different materials to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. For this new exclusive collaboration with Extrema Ratio we decided to propose a best seller in the world of cutlery, the Shrapnel model. It's a satin blade version but the most important thing is that has been used, for the first time in Italy, the famous Japanese Steel San Mai produced by Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used the CoS (Cobalt Special, considered mechanically superior by 25% compared to the already appreciated VG10) for the central plate and the 420J2 (55 HRC) for the two side plates, in order to have a high cutting capacity, but at the the same time a remarkable resilience and resistance to oxidation.

A First Production Run of 30 pieces has been made.

Commissioned and officially adopted in 2002 by the famous 9th Regiment. Raiders "Col Moschin", this model expresses the quintessence of pure combat knife.
