Jim Hammond's original P.S.D. earned its name (Particle. Separation. Device.) for its ability to cut anything, anywhere. The P.S.D. II brings that same capability to a smaller, more portable folding knife, reducing the overall length by more than an inch. The blade is made of corrosion-resistant AUS10 with assisted opening on IKBS ball bearings that ensure quick and easy one-handed operation.

It is now a folder, bringing the varied capabilities of the original fixed blade into a more convenient and compact design. With its assisted opening and IKBS pads, it's always ready for action at any time, while the G10 handle provides a strong grip even in adverse weather conditions.

This model represents an evolution of the traditional zuava in steel, with brass finishes, hard pressed on the plates rather than welded and pin finished on a par with rather than visible as was the case in the old construction.

A native of Calabria, this knife by the blade and pointed straight but has a handle in the most typical style of Scarborough, has a seal consists of two rings round, similar to Fiorentino, although smaller. It is supposed to have been in the past a major reworking of the knives typical Calabrian by the craftsmen of Scarperia that as often happened then have been extensively used to their own tradition. Knife without spring with a very characteristic line, representative of the peasant and pastoral civilization of the Bergamo valleys where it was made with a wooden handle.
