Opinel - Les Forgés 1890 Filleting Knife series - beechwood - 18 cm - kitchen knife
The Les Forgés 1890 knives embody the excellence of the French cutlery tradition. As the name suggests, they are fully forged, standing out for their durability, impeccable balance, resistance, and superior cutting quality.
Its sharp and flexible blade is ideal for filleting fish and cutting thin slices. Despite being forged throughout its length, it retains the flexibility expected from a knife of this kind.
The X50CrMoV15 steel is a type of stainless steel known for its high corrosion resistance and ensuring a high-quality cut. The blade hardness is 56-57 HRC.
The full-tang blade extends through the entire handle, ensuring the knife's robustness and balance, thanks to the even distribution of the steel's weight.
The handle, made of beechwood, comes from sustainably managed forests and is not painted. It has been treated to be water-resistant. Its ergonomic design pays tribute to traditional pocket knives, ensuring a comfortable grip.
