The handle: is made of synthetic material, is joined to the blade with triple riveting that ensures excellent stability and strength.
The blades are made using the best steels, obtained by combining the most qualified elements (15% chromium - 0.5% carbon - molybdenum - vanadium).
The machining steps for a single WUSTHOF forged knife are about 40.

Maintenance

Proper care increases the life of the knife, making it easier and safer to work with; it also reduces wire wear.

Hand washing is preferable (using dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge); in the case of dishwashing, where permitted, there are a couple of tips to follow:
- be sure to arrange the knives so that they do not hit other objects and damage the wire;
- in any case, before being washed in the machine, it is best to rinse the knives under running water to remove remnants of what you cut, especially substances that can be highly corrosive (e.g., fats, vinegar, fruit juices).

The knives we sell, are checked and, if necessary, further sharpened, in order to ensure their perfect, even professional, use.

Proper care will increase the life of the knife, making it easier and safer to work and reduces the consumption of the wire. A few tips:

- Please make sure to put the knives in a dishwasher from hitting other objects as this may damage the blades.

- The knives guaranteed for dishwashers that are not immediately washed in the machine should be rinsed under the tap water to remove the remains of the highly corrosive foods (fats, vinegar, fruit juices).

- Not sure if the knives were more cut to perfection, corrections or sharpen by professionals in the field.
