The most striking feature of this model is in the edge of the blade, a full right to the tip. The Casertano lent itself well to a variety of uses, thanks to the cutting edge straight that finishes in a very simply shaped handle. This solution was very appreciated in different times and places, even outside the area where it originated, as to be still widespread. The Caserta is a model in horn tip.

Rasolino in bovine RAC-20 - Knife

The name of this knife comes from the shape of the blade, reminiscent of the razor.
Had spread following the law Giolitti in 1908 which placed severe limitations to the port of sharp knives, and that favored the production of various models in a truncated tip.
  The Rasolino is distinguished by the slight curvature of the blade and back to the shape of the handle.

This Pattada constitutes the now historical interpretation of the Sardinian knife made by Consiglio. The handle formed by two halves fixed with a row of rivets and the absence of a real spring are typical of the original model, but the line, the shape of the surfaces, the use of ram's horn are affected by the Scarperian tradition. Consigli has long linked its business to supplies for Sardinia, so much so that their Pattada have now become "Sardinian by adoption".

Knife in use for certain information until the first half of the 19th century in the Tuscan and Lazio Maremma.
Through finds from the criminological museum of Rome, he was seen among those knives handed over by the rioters of the penal baths of Civitavecchia to Cardinal Franco Pentini, in 1848, sent to put down a revolt.
