Takeshi Saji - Koinobori knife - red carp skin - PRIVATE COLLECTION - Craft Knife
Knife collected from a private collection in like new condition with original box - Knife made in 2017 by the famous Japanese knifemaker Takeshi Saji - The knife is supplied together with the sheath made by Saji, with an additional sheath made by the Italian cutler Simone Tonolli. This second sheath allows horizontal attachment to the belt. Checked and certified by our internal laboratory.
Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His workshop is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. Conaz Consigli Scarperia - Hunchback Abruzzese Cattle knife 24cm - knife
This slender-shaped knife with a curved handle derives from ancient models used by the shepherds of Abruzzo. Its adoption in the repertoire of knives manufactured in Scarperia (where the particular crease of the handle earned it the name of "hunchback") dates back to the late nineteenth century and took place without flashy changes compared to the original type, equipped with a simple spring and one-piece bovine horn handle. This model is in horn tip.

Handicrafts are beautiful because they are varied!
The colors of the materials from which crafts are made may vary from those shown in the pictures.
Horn, deer, and wood are raw materials that by their nature have distinct variability from one supply to the next-that's the beauty of fine materials. Add craftsmanship, where the artisan's hand never makes the same gesture: that's the beauty of craftsmanship. Combine all this and you have a product that is always different and unique. Always different from that unique and unrepeatable product that, necessarily, we have to photograph if we want you to understand what we are talking about and what we are offering you.50079 -

Palmerino horn cattle PA2C20 two knives - knife
The production of Scarborough has not devoted much attention to penknives.
It was, however, made a template from the desk, which in the past was used to make the tip of the quill pens and pencils.
This sharpener Scarperia was always devoid of spring and could have from one to two blades; unmistakable the shape of the handle, in a single piece of horn.
In the catalogs of the early years of the twentieth century these items were listed as "sharpeners use Palmerini" which was actually the name of a renowned manufacturer of the nineteenth century.

The Rasolino is distinguished by the slight curvature of the blade and back to the shape of the handle.Stainless steel blade 440.
