Notes: safety mechanism both on opening and closingExtrema Ratio foldables:
Directly derived from military specifications, this openable was developed to replace a fixed blade in use.
To achieve this result, very robust materials, high thicknesses and a solid and safe opening/closing system were used: the back lock.
The knife is equipped with a manual safety which provides maximum safety in use and drastically reduces the risk of accidental closures.
The safety, if inserted in the lock, prevents military or police operators from having the knife turned against them in the event of theft.
Materials and processes:
All the parts of the knife are machined from solid by high-precision numerical control machines while the assembly, adjustment and sharpening are carried out by hand.
The blade is made of N690 cobalt stainless steel, a steel with very high characteristics of resistance to mechanical stress, cutting capacity, edge retention and corrosion resistance. The grinding is flat and the hardness is 58HRC.
The grip scales are in Anticorodal, an aluminum alloy with high resistance to mechanical stress and oxidation.
The tang, in hardened N690, is an effective emergency glass breaker. All screws, pins and clips are in burnished stainless steel. The blade, the lever and the tang are covered with Testudo treatment, very resistant to abrasion and oxidation. The grips are black anodized.AP-ER-F-2 -

Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 82 Pagine

Coltelli - Numero 58 - Giugno/Luglio 2013 - rivista
Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 96 Pagine
Coltelli - Numero 57 - Aprile/Maggio 2013 - rivista
Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 96 Pagine
Per quanto riguarda gli eventi, vi parleremo dell’East Cost Custom Show, svoltosi a marzo a New York. Buona fortuna e… buona lettura!coltelli57 -
