The GLAUCA B1 folding knife was born from the collaboration with the GIGN (special unit of the French National Gendarmerie). It has a tip designed to allow maximum penetration. On the back of the handle it features a stop strap cutting system.

It is equipped with a rear glass breaker, a clip that can be applied in three positions and a side safety device.

Ferrum Rescue is a tool designed for rescue operations, developed in collaboration with my friend Andrea Micheli, military and law enforcement expert, journalist and shooting instructor. Made with a very compact handle, this rescue tool is equipped with 3 blades, each of which has a specific function:

The first and main blade has a thickness of 3 millimeters and is designed to be used for more demanding purposes and to protect the cutting edge of the other two from premature wear. The teeth allow it to cut larger ropes or textile materials, the remaining smooth part has the classic function of a knife. The second blade is a scalpel, which can be used for extremely precise cuts and for emergency first aid interventions. The third blade, on the back of the first, is the smallest of the 3, it has the function of cutting lines, capable of cutting paracord and aramid material.

The interaction of the main blade with the scalpel allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free any injured person from his or her clothing.

NON-automatic version of the Caimano Nero model

The Black Caiman is a tactical knife that Extrema Ratio, official supplier of Comsubin, has developed and delivered to the G.O.I. (Gruppo Operativo Incursori) of the Italian Navy. Its name recalls and pays homage to the heroic Caimani Neri del Piave, a department of Arditi of the Regia Marina and other components on a voluntary basis, which during the First World War crossed the Piave River by swimming to carry out raids in enemy territory.

Spear Point" 4 mm blade with asymmetrical rounding and partial sharpening of the counterbore to increase the penetration coefficient. The toothing on the blade allows you to cut cables and fabrics with high resistance preserving the sharpness.

It is a medium folder with a robust structure. The thick aluminum cheeks, thanks to the many processes of removal make the knife light and balanced. The end of the handle, which recalls the shape of the Helix/Timon group of the slow running torpedo (S.L.C.), serves to improve the grip for the rapid extraction of the knife from the pocket.

The DLC-coated titanium clip can be positioned at three different angles on either side to allow for maximum customization of the carry. Its shape is designed to minimize the bulk of the handle outside the pocket.

Among its endowments, besides the carbide glass breaker, there is also a safety, that when inserted, preserves from a dangerous accidental closing of the blade.

The BF2 is a "full size" lockable particularly suitable for professional use by military and police operators in the field. The handle is firm and comfortable; the clip, reversible and enveloping, becomes a useful and comfortable support for the thumb in "reverse grip". The grip is full with the characteristic lowered surfaces to engage the opening "pins" without protruding from the profile of the closed knife. The blade, available in a drop or a lot version, has a flat edge and, as in the BF1, a particularly thick and resistant tip. Unlike its drop-point predecessor, the Rock frame has a spearpoint blade 75 mm long, 6.0 mm thick, equipped with fuller for further lightening. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat treated to a hardness of 58 HRC. The same is available in black finish with DLC or satin finish.

This knife was designed and perfected in every detail for its primary use in the marine environment. The blade has a flat rounding that allows symmetrical cutting work with wider support. The tip, on the other hand, which is thick and durable thanks to the tanto version, allows greater penetration and a sharper, more precise cut. The stone washed finish process facilitates locating in the marine environment.

The structure of the handle, made of anodized anticorodal aluminum, features a design with milling in concentric circles and lightening and anti-slip perforations so as to facilitate rinsing from saltiness. A small slot is cut into the middle of the cheek piece to allow for tightening or releasing smaller shackles. BF2 V is equipped with reversible clip; adjusting screw retainer for closing and opening the blade; 70-mm. knot shock ankle with fastening mechanism; and correctable. Folding knife made to specific requests of the Italian Army department 185 ° RAO (Regiment Acquisition Objectives) and currently supplied to the homonymous department. The supplied knife differs from the civil one only because of the total lack of writing or logos on the blade.

HISTORICAL SUMS ON THE DEPARTMENT:
The 185 ° RAO of the '' Folgore '' is a department with an ancient tradition, but very new. In fact, it was born on April 3, 2000 following the reconfiguration of the 185th terrestrial paratroop artillery regiment. Based in Livorno, it is an atypical department of the artillery weapon, currently inserted in the Special Forces basin.

Entirely composed of voluntary personnel, the 185th RAO selects its components through the passing of a physical test and a qualification course on modules '' with increasing difficulty ''. The tasks entrusted to the RAO's men are many, but all very delicate: it is about gathering information on enemy objectives and 'passing them' to one's command. More generally, it can talk about '' recognition in sensitive areas ''. '' It is therefore evident - they stress to the Army - that the activity of the acquirer takes place mainly in hostile territory, in small self-sufficient nuclei that act in isolation ''.

RAO paratroopers are specialists in '' infiltration and exfiltration '' techniques and are able to move in the operating area '' for up to 8-10 days without external supplies ''. They know how to 'escape from capture, escape and escape from an' enemy controlled area '' and, above all, as '' identify, determine and evaluate objectives '' of strategic interest. Since 2002, the year of reconfiguration, the 185th Regiment detachments have operated in all the hottest operational theaters: from the Balkans to Afghanistan, to Iraq.
