The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. Hunters must avoid wrong cuts, keep hair off the meat, avoid cutting organs, and minimize blood flowing onto the game and the hunter. Diamond sharpening with two different sharpening grits.

The yellow surface consists of titanium and aluminum nitride which greatly prolongs the life of the sharpener. The rough side (44 microns) is used to recover more damaged cutting edges, while the fine side (25 microns) is used for precision sharpening.

Like all diamond sharpeners, this whetstone is a little rough at first, but gets smoother after a period of use.
