Cold Steel presenta Nightshade Series, una nuova serie di coltelli da allenamento, simili in tutto e per tutto a veri coltelli cold steel o a modelli di nuovo design ma costruiti interamente in Grivory, l'ultimo ritrovato della tecnologia per quanto riguarda la termoplastica rinforzata al Nylon e resistente più del doppio rispetto allo Zytel.

Un ulteriore fattore qualitativo di questi coltelli è rappresentato dalla manicatura in Kraton per assicurare il miglior grip possibile in ogni situazione. I coltelli sono inoltre leggerissimi e resistenti a caldo, freddo e amolte sostanze acide.
