The Buck 124 was originally designed in 1966 as a dive combat knife called the Nemo. The model then went into production in 1967 and was offered with either a dive sheath (NEMO) or a leather sheath (FRONTIERSMAN). The knife was the same and has remained so to this day.
In the 1960s about 300 examples were produced and they had black phenolic handles with white Teflon spacers. Then in the 1970s it had a fluctuating production, with very poor sales numbers, until in '73 it was offered with a "Buckarta" (Micarta) handle and began to find favor with the public, with over 10000 examples sold until the early 1980s. Until 1983 model production remained high, and in 1984 a version of the FRONTIERSMAN with a Pakkawood handle was introduced; the 1984 version did not have the patent logos engraved, the 1985 version had the patent engravings, and from 1986 the knife began to have the production date engraved on the blade.
Therefore, our proposed model is from 1984.

Knife withdrawn from private collection, dates from the very first production in 1984 (in fact, it does not indicate the patent engravings, affixed in 1985 and does not indicate the production date, affixed only from 1986). Globally in good condition, it has marks on the blade and handle due to the normal passage of time and the very aggressive scabbard which, containing a spring-loaded metal foil, irreparably scratches the blade both in insertion and extraction - It still has the factory sharpening and comes with a compass in the tang and two harpoons already engaged on the guard branch; lacking instead the box and additional accessories - Checked and certified by our in-house laboratory.
Intended Use: Sporting / CollectionType of production: Industrial
Country of manufacture: USA
Blade: knife made entirely of 420HC stainless steel
Blade finish: satin-finished
Handle: hollow, stainless steel, with rear screw cap
Blade length: 185mm.
Blade thickness: 7.5mm.
Total length: 315mm.
Balance: set back from the guard branch
Weight: 675g.
Scabbard: black ABS
Notes: The feature, patented, is the presence of two removable screw-on harpoons/hooks. The function of these is simple anchorage. In fact, this knife can be used as a throwing hook by attaching a rope to the ring on the pommel. The manufacturer guarantees a harpoon hold of up to 600 pounds. The Navy Seals, specifically, had requested a knife that could be used underwater in order to anchor the vehicles to an underwater attachment point, and that is the reason for the total steel construction.CP-BUBM1984Cold Steel - Vintage Gen I Trailmaster - Made in USA - PRIVATE COLLECTION - 16 - knife

We know that many of our customers are increasingly concerned about the weight and bulk of their EDC (every day carry) knife as space in their pockets is always very limited. That's why we focused on making a feather-light (90g.) and ultra-thin (8.8 mm thick) knife that can be carried 24/7 while still leaving pocket space for other essential accessories.
What we did not do, however, in our attempt to create a super EDC knife was to skimp on workmanship and materials. That's why all the blades in the Air Lite series feature impeccable workmanship and Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel, famous for its ability to hold an edge; the handles, on the other hand, are laser-cut from genuine G-10.
Even the locking mechanism is unbeatable-there's nothing better than our celebrated Tri-Ad Lock when it comes to finger protection. With an affordable price, amazing sharpness, and tremendous comfort and convenience in use, the Air Lite is truly unbeatable!

Notes: -CS26WTAntonini knives - Old Bear knife in SanMai VG10 a 67 layers - 23cm - multilayer black - Limited Edition
Antonini artisans from Maniago have created an exclusive and limited series of OLD BEAR knives using the famous Japanese SANMAI steel in VG10 with 67 layers. This beautiful project combines the tradition of a successful knife, patented and built in Italy, with the history and qualitative excellence of Japanese steel, made with a production process that dates back to that used for the famous Japanese swords.
The thickness of the blade goes from 2 mm of the standard models to 2.5 mm of this exclusive series, in order to make the knife more robust and performing.
To make the knife even more exclusive, for each of the three sizes offered, 60 exclusive pieces have been created, with progressive numbering engraved on the blade

Handle: in plywood with satin brass ring with nickel plating

Closed length: 127mm.
Thick when closed: 22mm.
Total length: 225mm.
Weight: 68g.
Closure: viro blockThe handles are made of Italian olive wood. Being a model without return spring, the fixing of the blade to the handle is ensured by a solid safety ring in nickel plated brass equipped with a special locking device (covered by patent n. active partner of this project) which can be activated both in the open and in the closed position.
As early as 1100, expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials together to give Katana swords cutting, strength and flexibility previously unknown. Inspired by this tradition, Berkel has created a series of Japanese SanMai steel knives.
The blade consists of a core layer of extremely hard VG-10 steel, which keeps it sharp for a long time, and two outer plates made of 33-layer damask stainless steel per side, for greater resistance to corrosion and torsion.
Characteristics of SanMai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals individually taken:
- Longer life of the cutting edge
thanks to the use of very high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade, once hardened, achieves decidedly hardness and cutting performance higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.- Greater resilience
built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the side facing (Stainless Steel).- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves the corrosion resistance even on the wire.- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although steel normally becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multi-state steel or damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world. For more information: Collini Steel

Note:CS62LABoker - Tiger Damascus knife - 111103DAM - folding knife
Boker Tiger-Damascus adds a very special model to the series of pocket knives steeped in history. Collector's knife with a historical past, a true piece of living history, which combines high quality craftsmanship with authentic materials. Known worldwide as the Tiger, the Panzerkampfwagen VI was used by the Wehrmacht from the late summer of 1942. It is considered to be one of the most famous tanks in history, despite its modest production number of only 1350 units and consequent low importance. strategic. The development of the heavy tank can be traced back to 1937 and series production began in August 1942. Today there are only seven units preserved, on display worldwide.
The tank parts used for the knife blade come from a Tiger I of the Schwere Panzerabteilung 502, which was destroyed in combat in Latvia in the summer of 1944 in a wooded area near the town of Bauska. Based on the wreck found at the original excavation site, it was determined that this Tiger was one of the first models produced.
The straight-cut Boker Tiger-Damascus features a unique Damascus blade made from the steel from the tank destroyed in Bauska. The non-stainless damask mosaic is hand-forged by Chad Nichols and resembles the tank tracks left in the ground by the Tiger's heavy tracks. Unlike conventional damask, damask mosaic production does not create layers, but complex damask bars are hand forged into a mosaic with an elaborate and very complicated process. The blade operates on ball bearings and is locked open by a sturdy steel framelock with stonewash finish.
The overall shape of the knife pays homage to the famous lines of the tank, while the decorative pin screw is modeled on the main drive pinion.
The slightly shaped micarta canvas handle scales feature precisely milled grooves, reminiscent of the characteristic surface texture of the Zimmerit coating of German armored vehicles.

With this exclusive edition of Coltelleria Collini in collaboration with Fox we chose to match a model with a particular design like the Yaru with a Japanese powder (sintered) and rolled steel (SanMai) by Takefu Steel.
For this project we chose to use the Super Gold2 (SPG2) steel at 62/63HRC for the cutting edge of the blade in order to guarantee exceptional cutting performance and sharpening durability, while at the same time ensuring a remarkable resilience and resistance to oxidation due to the blade lamination process.

The rolled steel - imported in Italy by Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. As early as 1100, expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials to give Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with previously unknown strength and flexibility. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that the Samurai swords have been preserved until our days becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, we are now able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.
- Longer cutting edge life
thanks to the use of high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the core steel, the blade, once hardened, reaches hardness and cutting performances definitely higher than those reached with the use of traditional steels.- Greater resilience
Built on the principle of Japanese swords, the multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the lateral coating (Stainless Steel).- Improved corrosion resistance
The steel used for the outer layers (Stainless Steel) gives the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at a galvanic level, a structure that improves corrosion resistance even on the edge.- Easy machining even after heat treatment
Although steel normally becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multilayer machining does not lose its softness and allows easy machining, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For optimum blade performance, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improved aesthetic performance
Knives made of multi-state steel or damask pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.CO-527CFFox - Yaru by Vox - Special Edition In SanMai SPG2 Steel - Blue Titanium - CO-527TI - knife
With this exclusive edition of Coltelleria Collini in collaboration with Fox we have chosen to match a model with a particular design like the Yaru with a Japanese powder (sintered) and rolled steel (SanMai) by Takefu Steel.

The sturdy Bowie blade over 17cm long and 6mm thick is suitable for a wide range of applications. For high edge retention and blade resilience, the choice fell on the well-known D2 tool steel.

Confezione: Patch 3D certificato numeratoPF-5005Boker - Kalashnikov AK-47 Damascus by Chad Nichols - 11KAL48DAM - knife
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov presented the AK-47 assault rifle he had designed to the Red Army and immediately convinced the decision-making bodies of its development. Only two years later, the now famous AK-47 was officially put into service as the "7.62 mm Awtomat Kalasshnikova obraztsa 1947". Even then, the simple and reliable design with a gas-pressure magazine with a swivel-head breech, the consistent use of stamped plates that could be produced quickly and cheaply, and the adherence to a class of cartridges introduced by the Wehrmacht with the StG 44 with an average performance between machine gun and rifle ammunition set the trend to this day. These characteristics have made the Kalashnikov system the most built and replicated weapon in history, with an estimated 100 million manufactured worldwide.
Introduced in 1959 along with the AKM, the revised variant of the AK-47, the bayonet was no less revolutionary and formative for later designs than the famous assault rifle itself. The concept was based on a knife originally developed by R. Todorov for combat swimmers. It marked a move away from long bayonets, which were used purely as cutting weapons, to a short, mountable knife with insulated shears and a multifunctional rear saw.
Mikhail Kalashnikov personally visited the Boker manufacture in Solingen in 2002 and officially introduced the Boker Kalashnikov knife line to the public. More than 70 years after the AK-47 entered service, we now present a truly exceptional special edition model of the knife line and once again honor its brilliant engineering achievement. The Boker Kalashnikov Bayonet Damascus features a unique Damascus steel blade, made from 6Ch3 and 6Ch4 bayonet steel according to the GRAU index of the former Soviet Army and decorated with General Kalashnikov's signature. The stainless Damascus, handcrafted by Chad Nichols, has 80 layers and is hand forged in the Virus pattern. It features an unusually intricate pattern that is the result of a very controlled forging process.
The handle is CNC machined from a block of 6061-T6 aluminum and then black anodized. The stabilized inlays are made of domestic hornbeam wood, reminiscent of the wood in the stock of the famous assault rifle, and together they form the shape of the characteristic vents on the fore-end. The Russian amber shellac color of the original stocks has been accurately reproduced. They are also CNC milled from solid and inserted by hand. All screws and clip are also black anodized. Made in the Boker knife factory in Solingen, it is delivered with transparent floating display, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.

Escapade is Opinel's new limited edition collection in collaboration with tattoo artist Jérémy Groshens. The collection reinterprets the iconic knife N°08 on the theme of travel, understood as the desire to go on an adventure, with three graphics that take up landscapes and icons of nature: Azimut, Bivouac, Elevation.
Azimut, recalls mountain cartography. The contour lines on the handle and black blade recall the Aiguilles d'Arves chain in Savoie, Massif de la Moriana, Opinel's homeland.
Bivouac mixes tattoo technique with elements of the outdoors. In his patchwork graphics, natural aspects typical of mountain vegetation coexist in a graphic style of fine strokes and pointillism.
Elevation is inspired by Japanese prints that celebrate landscapes and sacred places. The magnificence of the majestic peaks is immortalized through minimal graphics with flowing lines and delicate gradient colors.
Available 7600 pieces for each model, these knives have a hornbeam wood handle with a numbered 12C27M stainless steel blade and are sold in a gift box with matching graphics.

Note:F-RL1DIPohl Force - MK-9 Last Blood Heartstopper - Rambo 5 CNC² Edition - knife
With the Pohl Force MK-8 and MK-9 knives at its side, the legendary Rambo series (1982-2019), which like no other has made the knife the most important part of its equipment on the big screen, comes to an end.
The Pohl Force LAST BLOOD® CNC² Edition MK-9 is a perfectly designed knife in the eye-catching Spear Point style that looks like a modern, tactical tool in the unmistakable Pohl design.
Only strong and high quality materials are used for its manufacturing: the stainless steel 90Cr18MoV (440C) hardened at 57/58HRC gives the 23cm long and 6mm thick blade a high corrosion resistance and an excellent edge retention. The full tang construction is topped with a micarta handle that ends in an aesthetic element that can be used as a striking tool.
The micarta machining gives the handle a distinctive look with three-dimensional millings, and the handle and blade are visually connected by a CNC-milled guard machined from a solid block of stainless steel. A subhilt on the underside of the handle provides maximum control in handling the blade giving the MK-9 a distinctive look. It is completed by the ever-present knotted camouflage paracord lanyard that distinguishes all Pohl Force productions and matches exactly the same paracord used in the filming of the movie.
The knife comes with a leather sheath of the highest quality and is sold with a 3D Velcro patch and a cloth for care and cleaning.

With the Sandrin knives brand, Turmond manufactures the blades of its knives using tungsten carbide which, through a sophisticated manufacturing process, reach the extraordinary hardness of 71 HRC, while at the same time maintaining a high torsion capacity and resilience.
Sandrin model Torino; innovation and inspiration come together in this EDC knife featuring exceptional blade material, ergonomic handle design and a revolutionary new locking mechanism. The Torino model's ceramic ball bearing action offers an extremely fluid opening and closing experience. What truly makes the Torino a modern marvel is a completely redesigned mechanism called the Recoil Lock. The closing of the knife is obtained by sliding the rear spacer towards the rear, eliminating the accidental release of the blade.
