Thanks to its structure, RAO C is a tool that despite its small size, manages to guarantee the same qualities of robustness and reliability as its big brother while offering better portability and manageability.

The locking mechanism on opening is particularly strong as it is assisted by a safety system that turns it into a true fixed blade. The primary safety on the blade is activated by raising and lowering the locking pin. To provide the user with maximum safety in use, a practical and quick secondary safety has been applied, which can be activated simply by moving the locking pin horizontally.

For the purpose of lightening the steel frames, a template was laser-cut from the profile of the RAO C, which was then used to make a gadget that is delivered with the knife.

The ergonomic barrel-shaped polymer handle features a soft non-slip grip, a finger guard and a 2.5 mm thick contoured blade, profiled and made of Swedish stainless steel, which ensures strength and stability in every cut.

Thanks to the design of the blade and the handle, the knife is ideal for working safely and efficiently in various weather conditions during all hunting seasons. For almost a decade, Cold Steel® offered a wicked-looking little boot knife called the Culloden®. It was based on the traditional Scottish 'black knife' or 'Skean Dhu' as it is more commonly called in Gaelic, the ancient language of Scotland.
