Il CAC ® è il terzo coltello prdotto dalla Tarrerias - Bonjean progettato per l'esercito francese. Il suo design senza compromessi, leggerezza e robustezza fanno del CAC® un coltello eccezionale. Molto più tecnico e ambizioso dei suoi predecessori, il CAC® è la risposta di TB alla richiesta espressa dall'esercito francese, ovvero quella di progettare un coltello robusto e ambidestro con apertura e chiusura con una sola mano. Per creare questo eccezionale coltello, Tarrerias - Bonjean ha collaborato con Philippe Perotti, ex appartenente alle forze speciali francesi e autore di decine di libri sul tiro. La sua comprovata esperienza nel combattimento corpo a corpo ha massimizzato l'efficienza dell'uso del coltello per rendere il CAC® il compagno ideale per le truppe francesi in tutti i teatri operativi. Il CAC® è stato ufficialmente selezionato nel 2017 dall'esercito francese, rispetto all'offerta dei competitor, per le sue prestazioni, e rapporto qualità prezzo. La sua distribuzione nei vari corpi d'armata è iniziata all'inizio del 2018 e equipaggerà in gran parte i nostri francesi almeno fino al 2022.

Perfettamente resistente alla corrosione, la lama è realizzata in Nitrox®. Il CAC® ha anche un rompivetro, un taglia cinture e una clip da cintura reversibile.

Il manico è composto da due piastre in polimero caricato con fibre di vetro. Queste piastre sono avvitate al meccanismo tramite viti in acciaio inossidabile, una delle quali ospita abilmente una lama taglia reggetta. Questa lama curva e intercambiabile è progettata per tagliare cinghie, corde e cinture di sicurezza per facilitare l'estrazione in caso di incidente.

The CAC ® is the third knife produced by Tarrerias - Bonjean designed for the French army. Its uncompromising design, lightness and strength make the CAC® an exceptional knife. Much more technical and ambitious than its predecessors, the CAC® is TB's response to the request expressed by the French army, namely to design a sturdy and ambidextrous knife with one-handed opening and closing. To create this exceptional knife, Tarrerias - Bonjean collaborated with Philippe Perotti, a former member of the French special forces and author of dozens of books on shooting. Its proven track record in hand-to-hand combat has maximized the efficiency of knife use to make the CAC® the ideal companion for French troops in all operational theaters. The locking mechanism of the CAC® is extremely robust and guarantees perfect locking of the blade in the open position.

TB has also integrated the safe blade locking mechanism by moving the axis on the CAC®. This mechanism is extremely robust and guarantees perfect locking of the blade in the open position.

Master of Defense, an eclectic American brand no longer in business and later taken over by Blackhawk! Blades, produced various tactical and military type folding and fixed knives, all made in collaboration with well-known Knifemakers such as Elishewitz, Janich, Keating, Ayoob, Watson and Casillas.

Known for their rugged longevity in countless practical applications, Ontario's famous Old Hickory knives have been a go-to for cooking and outdoor enthusiasts for over 95 years. This model, thanks to its small size and ease of use, is ideal for processing fish and small game animals. It features an 8.5cm stainless steel blade with a satin finish. As with all Old Hickory models, this knife also features a wooden handle with brass rivets. Both the fillet knife and the leather sheath are made in the USA.

Bavarian dress knife or Bavarian picnic knife are the common English terms for the special type of fixed blade knife called Trachtenmesser in Germany. These knives are found in the right side pocket of a traditional Bavarian leather pant and only part of the handle is visible as you pass that pocket.

Bavarian dress knives are characterized by the particular shape of the blade and in most cases by a decorated ring. This ferrule constitutes the passage between the blade and the handle of the deer horn or other hunting trophies that is fixed with the tang. A dark brown leather sheath is slid over the blade for protection purposes.
