Dopo oltre 40 anni di servizio nella US Army Special Forces, Curtis Iovito e Mark Carey fondano nella North Carolina la Spartan Blades LLC.

Curtis, che già da anni progettava e disegnava coltelli per gli amici nelle forze speciali e Mark, che da sempre si occupava di attrezzature militari e tattiche quando lavorava nei "Berretti Verdi", decidono di unire le loro competenze e la loro passione con l'obiettivo di costruire coltelli innovativi e funzionali utilizzando materiali di altissimo livello qualitativo e interamente fatti negli Stati Uniti.
