The MUHLE R89 razor is a closed comb designed for experts and those who want to become one, developed specifically for those seeking a deep, yet gentle cutting experience. It is in fact a heavy, but not aggressive razor.

It differs from the regular R89 in the type of two-piece opening from which it takes its name: Twist. To open the razor and insert the razor blade you have to turn the knob at the bottom of the handle that allows the head to detach.
