Nepal Kukri

Arma nazionale del Nepal e dei suoi guerrieri Gurkha, il Kukri si distingue per la sua lama ricurva affilata nel latoconcavo e per lo spostamento del peso verso la punta che consente fendenti molto efficaci. L’impugnatura è diritta, senzaguardia. Caratteristico il ricasso (kauri) e il fodero di legno ricoperto di cuoioin cui sono contenuti anche due piccoli coltelli (karda e chakmak).

Crafty Kukri - Jungle knife 001 - knife

Kukri - Gurkha Army

Nepal's national weapon and its Gurkha warriors are distinguished by their sharp curved blade in the lathe and the weight shift towards the tip that allows very effective gaiters. The grip is straight, no guard. Characteristic is the ricotta (kauri) and the leather sheath covered with two small knives (karda and chakmak).
