Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

Roselli's version of the ultimate outdoor knife is now also available in a full tang model with hidden steel (where the blade runs through the entire handle) to give you better support and balance when you use it intensely. The M23 Ranger Cub knife features a 6.5-centimeter carbon steel blade with an induction-hardened edge at 62 HRC. Remember that carbon steel always requires some care, so keep the blade clean and wash and dry it after each use. You can also apply a little oil to the blade from time to time. With proper care, corrosion is kept at bay and the blade remains intact.

The handle material is TPV, thermoplastic vulcanized, a type of rubber-like plastic material that resists wear, impact, chemicals and temperature changes almost indefinitely. The secure grip remains firm even in wet conditions.

Thanks to the Kydex sheath, the knife can be easily carried on the belt in a horizontal position.

In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. However, it was the wrath of the father of the gods, Odin, that often drove the goddess of love to unleash wars in the world of men. Dirk Hofmeister of Midgards Messer was inspired by the art of Nordic forging and created the folding blade version of the beloved Little Dvalin.

The powerful Dvalin Folder Tanto impresses with its compact dimensions and features a Tanto blade in D2 steel with ball bearings, finished with a rough stonewash appearance and equipped with a deep engraving on both sides to open the folding knife using the recess as a nail lever.

The engraving on the top of the blade offers a secure grip for the thumb during complex cutting operations. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well-formed and partly grooved G10 handle always fits firmly in the hand. On the back of the handle is the stainless steel Frame Lock that securely locks the blade.

With a commercial 3D printer, it is possible to print alternative handles in various shapes, colors, and materials. The Tip-Up (r) clip matches the handle's texture, while the lanyard hole increases ease of use. It comes with a high-quality nylon case for storage.

On December 9, 1942, during the Second World War, KA-BAR presented a knife to the United States Marine Corps hoping it would become the standard weapon. In collaboration with the Marine Supply Department, the project was revised, and production began on an improved combat and utility knife.

During the war, USMC KA-BAR knives gained such recognition for their quality and abundance that "KABAR" became the common name. It was adopted by the Marines, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and Underwater Demolition Teams. Years later, many KA-BAR knives were reactivated in Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In 2019, KA-Bar partnered with Spartan Blades to form Pineland Cutlery. CEO John Stitt aimed to create a "KA-BAR" with improved strength, robustness, and corrosion resistance. During development, metallurgist Larrin Thomas identified CPM MagnaCut® steel with the desired qualities.

CPM MagnaCut® is a sintered high-carbon steel produced by Crucible Industries and specifically designed for blades. Spartan Blades developed the Spartan-KA-BAR using CNC machining, cryogenic treatment, and PVD coatings.
