On December 9, 1942, during the Second World War, KA-BAR presented a knife to the United States Marine Corps hoping it would become the standard weapon. In collaboration with the Marine Supply Department, the project was revised, and production began on an improved combat and utility knife.

During the war, USMC KA-BAR knives gained such recognition for their quality and abundance that "KABAR" became the common name. With the Boker Plus Epicenter Backlock, U.S. designer Todd Rexford has created a knife of impressive proportions that combines the irrepressible forces of nature and unleashes an uncontrollable tremor in the center of knife enthusiasts' emotions.

With the yellow and black color combination of the all-G10 shaped handle, the Epicenter ranks right at the top of the Richter scale. Only the sturdy backlock can tame the elemental force this pocket knife can generate, securely locking the blade in place.

The distinctive design, the Tracker concept with two separate blades, the impact-resistant 1095 carbon steel and the remarkable price-performance ratio quickly made Dave Wenger's Boker Plus Mini Tracker a top seller in the bushcraft and outdoor scene. While the front of the larger Tracker variants is primarily suitable for chopping and splitting, the blade shape of the smaller size of the new Boker Plus Micro Tracker shows completely different advantages and qualities.

The Micro Tracker shares the benefits of two sharpening angles on one blade with its bigger brothers. Additionally, the front half of the blade in the smaller format is great for working on a chopping board and the sturdy tip is great for opening boxes in everyday use. The small nose, which separates the two grinds, pulls hard when cutting in soft materials and is predestined for cutting ropes, lines and belts.

The field and 3D archer appreciates the compact size, powerful point and archaic look when working out the wrong arrows. The Boker Plus Micro Trapper has the same indestructible materials and finish as the Mini Tracker.
