    Il principio della cottura a vapore nella ROMERTOPF continua ad entusiasmare grazie ai piatti inconfondibilmente gustosi e sani e all'uso facilissimo. Le basse temperature di cottura mantengono aroma, vitamine e minerali. Non occorre aggiungere grassi, quindi si evitano calorie, basta preparare gli ingredienti, e la ROMERTOPF si occupa della cottura, tutta da sola e senza alcun controllo, e voi guadagnate tempo per altre cose. Il piatto riesce sempre, non si brucia niente, non vi è pericolo che qualcosa fuoriesca ed il forno rimane sempre bello pulito. La preparazione di alimenti in una pentola di terracotta non è un'invenzione moderna, ma risale a migliaia di anni, quando il cibo in una pentola di coccio è stato messo nelle ceneri ardenti di un fuoco. La pentola in Argilla è comunemente utilizzato in diverse cucine in Europa e Sud-Est e Asia orientale. In Giappone usano il Donabe , in India il Chatti, nelle Filippine il Palayok, e in Marocco il Tagine . Prima di ogni utilizzo, la pentola in argilla smaltata e coperchio sono immersi in acqua per dieci o quindici minuti. Dopo il cibo viene messo nella pentola, coperta con il coperchio e collocato in un forno freddo. Il cibo è cotto a fuoco alto e alla fine i risultati sono meravigliosi. Durante l'immersione, il vaso di argilla non smaltata assorbe l'acqua, che viene poi rilasciato in forma di vapore durante il processo di cottura. Questo produce umido, tenero e saporito pollo, carne (ottimo per tagli meno teneri) o pesce. Ci sono diverse linee guida da seguire quando si utilizza il Römertopf: • Immergere completamente la parte superiore e inferiore in acqua per 10 a 15 minuti prima di ogni utilizzo. • Posizionarlo nel forno freddo (non preriscaldare il forno). • ottenere la temperatura corretta in fasi: per un forno elettrico, impostare la temperatura richiesta dalla ricetta. Il forno si riscalda gradualmente. Con i forni a gas, impostare a bassa temperatura e aumentare gradualmente nel corso di 5 a 10 minuti. • Non mettere in lavastoviglie.     Preparation:

    Mussels are a tasty seafood that can be cooked in a variety of ways: steamed, in boiling water, grilled, baked, etc. They are great eaten alone, perhaps accompanied by chips or toast, or incorporated into a fish dish.
