Randall Made Knives' Model 11 is the original drop-point blade. Designed in 1952 by Alaskan guide Tommy Thompson it is designed for skinning large prey, has the tip lowered below the top of the blade to avoid cutting too deeply into skins when using the tip first.

This Model 19-4 Bushmaster from Randall Made Knives features a clip point blade with satin finish, false counterbore and serrated thumb rest. Knife handcrafted by Master C.IC. (Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai - Italian Knife-makers Guild) Livio Montagna. Excellent reproduction of one of the most iconic knives ever: the classic Bowie. A knife created by Rezin Bowie in the early 19th century for his brother Jim Bowie, the famous American pioneer whose rather reckless life is now shrouded in legend.

Livio Montagna's excellent craftsmanship does justice to this piece of history with its classic and timeless stylistic features: the double guard, the clip point blade, the handle in natural material.

Knife handcrafted by Master C.IC. (Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai - Italian Knife-makers Guild) Livio Montagna. Reproduction of one of the various versions of the Arkansas Toothpick, legendary frontier knife of the American 1800s. Famous, often infamous, it generally has a 30 to 50 cm blade, rather narrow and sometimes symmetrical, dagger-style. Used mainly for hunting and personal defence.

Livio Montagna's version is aesthetically very similar to the Toothpick used in Expandables 2.

The knife is distinguished by an excellent overall balance, allowing control and precision in use. The finish is of a good standard.

Particular knife developed with the help of experienced falconers and especially Horst Niesters in the early 1970s.
The blade was designed to chop up food for raptors and to intercept game brought back by raptors during hunting trips. In the center of the blade is a small semicircular notch that serves to signal to the falconer that the edge is sharp from the tip of the blade to that exact point; the rest of the blade is kept blunt to protect the raptors.
PUMA's falconer's knife is designed to be very handy and absolutely practical, making it a reliable companion for hunting prey.

Company History.
In 1938, Rudy Ruana began making knives in a small store in Montana. Members of his family continue to this day to handcraft Ruana knives in the same store. In 1964 Ruana's son-in-law, Vic Hangas, left a job with a telephone company and put his artistic talents to good use, joining Ruana in the business. Hangas' son Mark began working in the business in 1976. In 1983, Ruana retired at the age of 80 and sold the business to the Hangas family. In 1984 Mike Hangas joined his brother and father and the company was incorporated. Rudy Ruana died in April 1986. He was honored with posthumous induction into the American Bladesmith Society's Hall of Fame in 1997 and Blade magazine's Cutlery Hall of Fame in 2002.

Ruana knives are still handmade in the small Montana store where Rudy Ruana began forging blades more than 80 years ago. In an era of outsourcing and diminishing Made in America products, Ruana knives are still handmade in the United States, with a focus on quality rather than quantity. Although some things have changed over the years, still using the same methods and much of the same equipment used by Rudy Ruana.

History of the Model
The Model 7 was designed as a scaled-down version of the Model 3 Hunter.

Almost immediately, the idea of a scaled-down version of the new Hunter dawned on Bo Randall as an ideal knife for his fellow anglers. An avid fisherman since his youth, Bo regarded this new knife as a labor of love and immediately set to work on the project. At first he tried 4- and 4.5-inch blades, but then opted for the 4 1/2-inch one. Bo wanted the right handle for cleaning brook trout and similar sized fish, so he reduced the size of the handle of the new Hunter and changed its shape. Naturally, he called this model the "Fisherman," and some early prototypes with 4-inch blades were delivered to some dealers during the latter part of September 1945.

Knife withdrawn from private collection, like new, with original case - Model "made in Switzerland" made in collaboration with Klotzli in 1994 in about 1,000 numbered examples on the blade (about 500 plain edge and about 500 partially serrated) based on a design by famous American designer Michael Walker. Knife that combines two qualities difficult to match, especially in those years; lightness and sturdiness. Elegant gentlemen, easy to open and close with one hand thanks to the Liner-Lock system, invented by Walker himself. Peculiarities of this very rare production are also the engravings on blade and clip made by excision and not by laser.

The Buck 124 was originally designed in 1966 as a dive combat knife called the Nemo. The model then went into production in 1967 and was offered with either a dive sheath (NEMO) or a leather sheath (FRONTIERSMAN). The knife was the same and has remained so to this day.

In the 1960s about 300 examples were produced and they had black phenolic handles with white Teflon spacers. Then in the 1970s it had a fluctuating production, with very poor sales numbers, until in '73 it was offered with a "Buckarta" (Micarta) handle and began to find favor with the public, with over 10000 examples sold until the early 1980s. Knife withdrawn from private collection, dates from the very first production in 1984 (in fact, it does not indicate the patent engravings, affixed in 1985 and does not indicate the production date, affixed only from 1986). Globally in good condition, it has marks on the blade and handle due to the normal passage of time and the very aggressive scabbard which, containing a spring-loaded metal foil, irreparably scratches the blade both in insertion and extraction - It still has the factory sharpening and comes with a compass in the tang and two harpoons already engaged on the guard branch; lacking instead the box and additional accessories - Checked and certified by our in-house laboratory.

Notes: The feature, patented, is the presence of two removable screw-on harpoons/hooks. The function of these is simple anchorage. In fact, this knife can be used as a throwing hook by attaching a rope to the ring on the pommel. The manufacturer guarantees a harpoon hold of up to 600 pounds. The Navy Seals, specifically, had requested a knife that could be used underwater in order to anchor the vehicles to an underwater attachment point, and that is the reason for the total steel construction.
