Company profile

Tecnocut snc was born in 1987, starting immediately the production of sports knives under the Viper brand. From the beginning the goal was to create products of excellent quality, blending the most advanced technology with the skill and tradition of craftsmanship. Following this philosophy, in 1992 Tecnocut started the production of its first series of Damascus steel blades.

The experience gained over the years has allowed the company to achieve the state of the art in the industrial processing of damascene steel and damask wire.
The offer was then completed with the addition of new materials, including high-contrast damask steel, stainless steel and super-stainless steel.

Towards the end of the 1990s, the Viper catalog, thanks to the approval received from the market, was enriched with the introduction of several fixed blade models.
The modern market trends and the sectoral evolution of the product have led Tecnocut to evolve and differentiate its range even further, with new series of high-tech folding closures - with "liner lock" and "back-lock" mechanisms and "frame lock" - using cutting-edge materials such as sintered steels, carbon and titanium.

The last example in chronological order is the Keeper model, the result of the creative inspiration of Maestro Fabrizio Silvestrelli, combined with our in-depth knowledge of the materials and the constructive care that distinguishes us.

The use of D2 steel and the Bohler N690Co, treated with modern methods such as PVD or micro-shot, makes these closables at the forefront and at the top of the category for reliability.

Although we are committed to keep up-to-date, we do not want to forget our origins: our range is still characterized by the extensive use of rare and precious materials such as colored and stabilized American wood roots, exotic woods, deer and deer horn.

The Viper vocation to create high-quality products permeates series like the "Slim jewels": a line of real cutlery jewels, available with 800/000 silver handles or fossil ivory hand-engraved, with blades in classic steel or in Damascus.

The "Timeless" and "Quality" closures are also very successful, thanks to the collaboration with the artisan cutler Fabrizio Silvestrelli, better known as Silvester.

A cooperation that has consolidated over time and has led to the creation of real milestones in the history of our company.

For example, the Boletus, a refined mushroom knife, or other closures such as "Drop", "Gent" and the exclusive "Plus" corkscrew. Let's not forget the regional series: a collection that will be completed in 18 models in the coming years, produced in a limited number of thousand units per knife. This year Viper has revisited with great skill the Vernante, a famous Piedmontese knife, maintaining its characteristic features but increasing its safety with the use of the "Action Stopper System" technology.

We indulge in some incursions in the kitchen sector, in which we offer a series of cost and table knives, as well as our famous Mathusalem champagne saber.
