Xenophilius "Xeno" Lovegood is a character in the series of Harry Potter novels written by JK Rowling.
It appears for the first time in the seventh book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows [1].
He, however, is appointed by the fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as the father of Luna Lovegood, classmate of Harry Potter, and editor of The Quibbler. Its name is derived from Greek and means "Friend of the different", tracing his passion for outlandish notions.
Xenophilius Lovegood, always brings with it the symbol of the gifts, namely the triangular rune, hoping to meet other true believers who can help in the search.
He will reveal to Harry the Peverell family bonding with the three brothers of the legend, and this revelation will descend all the knowledge that Harry will acquire in the course of history, about the real Deathly Hallows.
