The Buck 122 Nemo is one of the most fascinating and collectible knives from Buck's early production history and represents an important chapter in the development of the American brand. Introduced in 1967, the Nemo was specifically designed as a professional diving knife for divers requiring a strong, powerful and dependable tool for use in marine environments.

The Nemo design would subsequently give rise to the celebrated Buck 124 Frontiersman. During the earliest stages of production, the two models were essentially identical in terms of knife construction and were distinguished primarily by their equipment: the 122 Nemo was supplied with a dedicated synthetic diving sheath designed to be strapped to the leg, whereas the Frontiersman was marketed with a traditional leather sheath for outdoor use.

The example offered here belongs to one of the rarest and most desirable configurations within the Nemo/Frontiersman family: the early 1967 commercial production with white Teflon spacers. According to historical documentation from the Buck Collectors Club, the estimated production for this configuration was only 300-500 examples.

Its construction details are highly distinctive: a black phenolic handle, thin white Teflon spacers, a robust stainless-steel guard and the characteristic one-piece stainless-steel bird's-beak pommel, complete with a lanyard hole at the end.

The blade marking is also significant for dating the knife. The ricasso bears the simple two-line “BUCK / U.S.A.” stamp, without the 122 model number. Buck introduced systematic model-number markings only in later years, making this early configuration immediately recognizable to knowledgeable collectors.

The large plain-edge blade is made from 440C stainless steel, one of the reference steels used by Buck during this period and selected for its strong cutting performance, toughness and good corrosion resistance. Nevertheless, the Nemo's intended underwater use required particularly careful maintenance after exposure to salt water, something Buck specifically emphasized in the documentation originally supplied with the knife.

This example retains its rare original Buck Nemo diving sheath, made from rigid synthetic material and complete with adjustable straps for attachment to the diver's leg. The presence of the Nemo-specific sheath is particularly important, as it distinguishes this configuration from the contemporary Buck 124 Frontiersman.

The set also retains the original large two-piece ivory-colored Buck Knife box, typical of the earliest production period, and most importantly the rare original “BUCK NEMO” instruction sheet, in which Buck explained the characteristics of the steel and provided specific instructions for proper blade maintenance following use in water.

The knife is in excellent condition considering its age. The blade retains a very uniform satin finish and shows no evident corrosion; the handle, guard and pommel are likewise very well preserved. Only minor surface marks consistent with almost sixty years of storage and handling are visible.

The original sheath is complete and in excellent overall condition, with normal superficial signs of age. The box shows more evident staining, yellowing and storage marks, entirely consistent with its age. The original documentation is present and further enhances the historical importance and completeness of this set.

A 1967 Buck 122 Nemo with white Teflon spacers is already a highly significant piece in Buck history; finding one still accompanied by its original diving sheath, box and BUCK NEMO documentation makes this example particularly desirable for a collection dedicated to early Buck knives, American military and professional knives, or the history of diving knives.

  2. Spartan Blades - Harsey Folder Ronin Long Gunner Limited Edition - Handcrafted Damascus & Titanium - knife

The Spartan SHF is the result of a collaboration between Spartan Blades, Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics, and renowned knife designer Bill Harsey.

Designed as a high-performance folder, the SHF is intended for EDC, tactical, and field use, combining ruggedness, ergonomics, and precision craftsmanship.

The 3.95" blade in Chad Nichols Damascus stainless steel is the heart of the design, complemented by a construction made almost entirely of titanium: with the exception of the blade, pivot, and lock pin, every structural component is crafted from this material, ensuring an ideal balance between lightness and strength.

The ergonomic handle is designed for intensive use, with finger grooves and jimping that improve grip even in critical conditions. The internal anti-over-travel system protects the opening mechanism, while the reversible titanium clip allows for ambidextrous tip-up carry. The dual thumb studs, made immediately accessible by a milled ramp on the handle, allow for a quick, smooth, and intuitive opening.

Every detail of the SHF reflects Spartan Blades’ philosophy: to create reliable, functional tools built to last, without compromising on performance or quality.

The Long Gunner Damascus Edition adds a strong narrative and collectible dimension. The Damascus blade features unique and one-of-a-kind patterns, while the engraved titanium scales depict a sniper in an artistic style inspired by Japanese tradition, with symbolic references to the world of “long gunners.”

The involvement of Tu Lam, a U.S. Special Forces veteran and founder of Ronin Tactics, further strengthens the project’s connection to real-world operational culture. His experience with the Green Berets and his “modern samurai” philosophy help give the SHF a dimension that goes beyond the tool itself: a modern interpretation of discipline, resilience, and tactical mindset.

The result is a knife that combines engineering, operational experience, and cultural identity: not only a cutting tool of the highest caliber, but also a tribute to contemporary military tradition and the figure of the professional who operates in the shadows.

    * Condition: Structure intact, no functional compromises, fully operational and ready for use. Presence of surface oxidation and signs of aging, consistent with the untreated finish. These elements reinforce its technical character and ensure its longevity.

    * Blade Markings: Surface oxidation and signs of aging
    * Handle Markings: None

The Busse SARsquatch is one of the most iconic models in the Busse Combat Knife Company’s lineup, a direct expression of the design philosophy developed by Jerry Busse: maximum reliability, uncompromising construction, and proven performance in the field.

This specific 2008 Special Edition version stands out for its less common configuration, lacking a protective coating. A choice that at the time favored a more “bare and functional” approach, now particularly appreciated by the most experienced enthusiasts.

For many collectors and users, the SARsquatch represents one of those models that, during its production run, were difficult to find and even harder to purchase. An iconic piece from an era when Busse operated with limited availability and extremely high demand.

At the heart of the SARsquatch is the famous INFI steel, a proprietary alloy developed in-house by Busse, the specific composition details of which have been deliberately kept confidential over time.

In practice, INFI is recognized for: High resilience, suitable for intensive and heavy-duty use; Corrosion resistance superior to the average for non-stainless steels; Good edge retention, with ease of maintenance.

These qualities have helped build the brand’s reputation, making Busse models practical tools for real-world use.

This SARsquatch model is aimed at an audience that understands the value of the Busse project and the context in which it was born. It is not a pristine “collector’s item,” but an authentic knife, true to its operational nature.

It represents a tangible opportunity for those who, in the 2000s, followed the brand and appreciated its products but were unable to easily acquire them: today, it is possible to purchase an original piece, with a distinctive configuration and a history already written, ready to continue being used.

  5. Microtech - Stitch RAM-LOK - Marfione Select Limited Edition - Titanium & Bronze Double Vapor Blast - 169RL-10MS4 - Knife

Released in 2023, the Stitch RAM-LOK debuted with the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) as the first Microtech blade equipped with its fantastic RAM-LOK technology. This sturdy reinterpretation of the crossbar lock features Microtech's signature stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series' drive switches. The blade's wide cut provides room for reverse middle finger movements and standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. If neither of these is preferred, simply pull down on the RAM-LOK and the blade opens with a simple flick of the wrist. The aluminum handles are lightly textured to provide excellent grip potential with both standard and reverse grips. Rugged, durable, and made in the USA, we know it will quickly become a favorite among all members of the knife community.

  6. SOG - S1 Bowie Vietnam 5th Special Forces Group - Seki Japan - PRIVATE COLLECTION

    * Commercial availability: Discontinued

    * Marks on handle: Present, with natural patina and signs of use on the stacked leather washers

    * Manuals, Certificates and Warranties: -
    * Inspected and Certified by our in-house laboratory

The SOG S1 Bowie Vietnam 5th Special Forces Group is one of the most representative knives in the history of SOG Specialty Knives and the model with which the American brand began its production during the second half of the 1980s. Made in Seki, Japan, the S1 was created as a tribute to the famous knives used by members of the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam – Studies and Observations Group (MACV-SOG) during the Vietnam War.

It is important to distinguish the S1 from the original “sterile” military knives actually used operationally during the conflict: the commercial SOG model instead reproduces the commemorative configuration of the famous MACV-SOG Bowie, featuring the U.S. Army Special Forces crest on the blade together with the marking “VIETNAM 5th SPECIAL FORCES GROUP”. This strong historical identity, combined with the quality of Japanese manufacturing, has made it one of the most recognizable and sought-after vintage SOG knives among collectors.

Production was entrusted to Ichiro Hattori in Seki, one of the most important names in Japanese knifemaking. The substantial Bowie blade is made from SK-5 carbon steel, hardened to approximately 57-58 HRC, with the characteristic dark gun-blue finish combined with polished surfaces. The handle uses traditional stacked leather washers stabilized with epoxy resin, completed by a sturdy metal guard and pommel.

This example features the classic SOG Specialty Knives logo on one side of the ricasso and, on the opposite side, the markings “SEKI-JAPAN”, the Special Forces crest and the inscription “VIETNAM 5th SPECIAL FORCES GROUP”. It is also accompanied by its original black leather sheath, complete with sharpening stone pocket and a large Special Forces crest embossed on the lower section. The original period identification label is still present on the back of the sheath.

The example offered here comes from a private collection and has actually been used. The blade shows scratches, abrasions and surface marks, both on the blued and polished areas; the leather handle has developed a noticeable patina and shows wear consistent with its age. The original sheath is also heavily used, with leather wear, marks and widespread abrasions. Its condition should therefore be considered good in relation to its age and nature, but it should not be compared with a display-grade or NOS example.

These very characteristics tell the story of an authentic SOG S1 made in Seki: a knife that, regardless of its cosmetic condition, retains all the appeal of one of the founding models of the brand and today represents a particularly significant piece for a collection dedicated to American military knives and Japanese SOG production from the 1980s and 1990s.

The Socom Delta represents the modern evolution of a Microtech icon, setting extremely high standards in the world of tactical and utility knives. A direct descendant of the legendary Socom, launched in 1996, the Delta takes its legacy to the next level in terms of ergonomics, solidity, and operational versatility. Available with a clip point or tanto blade, it guarantees absolute performance in any context. The integrated glass breaker at the base of the handle and the large pivot, which allows for easy opening even when wearing gloves, reinforce its professional vocation. Created in 1986 as the second official model of the newly formed SOG Specialty Knives, the S2 Trident is not just a knife, but a bridge between the past and the present. Designed in honor of the Navy SEALs and special units that operated in Vietnam, it draws direct inspiration from the legendary MACV-SOG knives of the 1960s, “sterilized” and lethal tools used in the most secret missions of the conflict.

Produced during the company's golden age in Seki, Japan, the Trident combines elegant lines and combat functionality: a thick, balanced AUS-8 steel Bowie blade with impeccable satin finish; ergonomic and durable black micarta stacked washer handle; and the engraved Navy SEAL symbol, a seal of belonging to an elite group. The leather sheath with sharpening stone completes a package designed for operators and collectors.

The S2 Trident is the most refined tribute to SOG's operational past: a homage to the military tradition of Vietnam reinterpreted with Japanese craftsmanship. Today, with a very high rarity index, it is considered one of the most sought-after pieces by military knife collectors, not only for its build quality, but for the history embodied in its blade.

    THE LEGEND
Jimmy Lile (1933–1991), known as “The Arkansas Knifesmith,” was one of the most important American knife makers of the 20th century. Born in Russellville, Arkansas, he made his first knife at the age of 11 and devoted himself professionally to knife making in 1971.

He is famous for the legendary Rambo knives, designed for real use with 440C blades, hollow handles, and innovative details. He was president of the Knifemakers' Guild, and his works were commissioned by presidents and celebrities.

He died in 1991, leaving a legacy of the highest caliber in custom and collectible knives.

    THE PRESENT
Today, the Lile Knives, LLC brand is owned by John Hill of McKinney, Texas. In the 1980s, John was already collaborating with Bob Rankin on the sale of original Rambo knives, and in 2003 he co-authored a book dedicated to Lile's work.

After Jimmy's death, John maintained a strong relationship with Marilyn (Lile) Miller and purchased the Lile brand from her to continue producing high-quality replicas of the movie knives, adhering to custom knife standards and guaranteeing Marilyn royalties.

Since 2011, John Hill has been collaborating with Vaughn Neeley, former owner of Timberline Knives, to produce limited editions of Rambo knives that are prized by collectors. Today, Vaughn produces the entire new “Cerakote™ Series,” while the “Utility Series” is produced under his supervision, keeping alive the tradition and quality of Jimmy Lile's original models.

    THE KNIFE
“The Mission” is one of the most iconic survival knives ever made, born from Jimmy Lile's vision to combine extreme functionality and military design.

Featuring a stainless steel blade finished entirely with bead-blasting to eliminate reflections, this model combines tactical aesthetics and real performance.

The back is equipped with aggressive serrations, while the hollow handle, wrapped in paracord, integrates a compass and allows for the transport of small tools.

The multifunction guard features screwdriver tips, making it a complete survival tool. Produced in a limited edition, “The Mission” represents the perfect synthesis between a combat knife, field tool, and collector's item.

In the 1980s, Jimmy Lile developed an elegant folding knife with a button lock mechanism, known as the “Lile Lock.” This patented system consists of a front button on the handle that unlocks the blade when opening and locks it in the cutting position, ensuring safety and ease of use. The monolithic nickel-silver guides support the D2 steel blade, while the micarta inserts on the scales give the knife a refined look.

This is a generously sized knife, produced in limited quantities between the 1970s and 1980s. The numbered examples bearing engravings such as the patent number 4148140 are now highly sought-after collector's items of great economic value.

This folding model represents a perfect balance between functionality and collectible design: compact and easy to handle, with a reliable lock, high-quality materials, and meticulous details, embodying Lile's attention to craftsmanship even in a context other than the famous survival knife.

This Ka-Bar 1217, made in 1991, is a commemorative knife designed to mark the 50th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This surprise attack, conducted by the Imperial Japanese Navy, aimed to destroy the U.S. Pacific Fleet and prevent a rapid response to Japanese expansion. The raid claimed the lives of about 2,400 people, including military personnel and civilians, and led the United States to enter World War II, declaring war on Japan the following day.

The Ka-Bar 1217, with its high-carbon steel blade and leather ring handle, has the same design as the legendary Ka-Bar knife used by U.S. soldiers during the conflict. The blade is engraved with the 50th anniversary logo and a symbolic image of Pearl Harbor, making the knife a collector's item and a tribute to the historical memory of the event. The Ka-Bar 1217 is not just a tool but a mark of honor and respect for the victims of the attack and the heroes who contributed to the victory of the United States during World War II.

Unlike the standard models, here we have engraving from the right side of the blade, hand-molded leather washers with an aged look, and even the scabbard is made like the 1940s models, with darker leather and steel staple points in addition to the traditional contrasting cream-colored stitching.

    Intended Use: Tactical/Military

    Company History.
In 1938, Rudy Ruana began making knives in a small store in Montana. Members of his family continue to this day to handcraft Ruana knives in the same store. In 1964 Ruana's son-in-law, Vic Hangas, left a job with a telephone company and put his artistic talents to good use, joining Ruana in the business. Hangas' son Mark began working in the business in 1976. In 1983, Ruana retired at the age of 80 and sold the business to the Hangas family. In 1984 Mike Hangas joined his brother and father and the company was incorporated. Rudy Ruana died in April 1986. He was honored with posthumous induction into the American Bladesmith Society's Hall of Fame in 1997 and Blade magazine's Cutlery Hall of Fame in 2002.

Ruana knives are still handmade in the small Montana store where Rudy Ruana began forging blades more than 80 years ago. In an era of outsourcing and diminishing Made in America products, Ruana knives are still handmade in the United States, with a focus on quality rather than quantity. Although some things have changed over the years, still using the same methods and much of the same equipment used by Rudy Ruana.

    History of the Model
The Model 7 was designed as a scaled-down version of the Model 3 Hunter.

Almost immediately, the idea of a scaled-down version of the new Hunter dawned on Bo Randall as an ideal knife for his fellow anglers. An avid fisherman since his youth, Bo regarded this new knife as a labor of love and immediately set to work on the project. At first he tried 4- and 4.5-inch blades, but then opted for the 4 1/2-inch one. Bo wanted the right handle for cleaning brook trout and similar sized fish, so he reduced the size of the handle of the new Hunter and changed its shape. Naturally, he called this model the "Fisherman," and some early prototypes with 4-inch blades were delivered to some dealers during the latter part of September 1945.
