* Condition: Overall in excellent condition; shows no signs of actual use. It does, however, have the typical scuff marks caused by inserting and removing the sheath, which inevitably abrades the satin finish of the blade; these marks are superficial, uniform, and characteristic of this particular knife model. The sheath is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of abrasion and no breaks or sagging. It comes with an additional nylon pocket with Velcro that contains the original vintage oil-lubricated compass.

The most distinctive—and patented—feature of the Buckmaster Buck 184 is the presence of two removable, screw-mounted harpoons, or hooks. Their primary function is to provide an anchor point: the knife can, in fact, be used as a sort of throwing hook by attaching a rope to the ring on the pommel. The manufacturer claimed the grappling hooks had a holding capacity of up to 600 pounds.

In the case of the Navy SEALs, the requirement was for a knife that could also be used underwater and, if necessary, allow for the anchoring of equipment or vehicles to a submerged anchor point. This specific requirement contributed to the choice of an all-steel construction, designed to offer strength and durability even under harsh underwater operating conditions.

The KA-BAR George Roscoe is a surprisingly sturdy and easy-to-handle daily carry fixed-blade knife designed by award-winning custom knifemaker Les George. Made entirely in the USA from 425 high carbon stainless steel, it is designed to offer reliable performance and great strength in everyday use.

The compact 46mm Wharncliffe blade and full-tang construction provide structural strength in a total length of just 105.4mm. Its small size and low weight (68g.) make it easy to carry, discreet and quick to use. The knife comes with a durable Celcon sheath with the Les George logo, designed to ensure safe retention and instant access.

The KA-BAR Wrench Knife 1119 is a neck knife whose design is based on knives that are sometimes forged from old wrenches by knife enthusiasts. KA-BAR has used these characteristic shapes and transformed them into this cute knife.

KA-BAR used 425 to forge this knife. This is a slightly improved version of the popular 420 steel. Stainless, durable, easy to sharpen. The KA-BAR 1119 wrench knife comes with an elegant plastic sheath, without belt clip.

The Buck 124 was originally designed in 1966 as a dive combat knife called the Nemo. The model then went into production in 1967 and was offered with either a dive sheath (NEMO) or a leather sheath (FRONTIERSMAN). The knife was the same and has remained so to this day.

In the 1960s about 300 examples were produced and they had black phenolic handles with white Teflon spacers. Then in the 1970s it had a fluctuating production, with very poor sales numbers, until in '73 it was offered with a "Buckarta" (Micarta) handle and began to find favor with the public, with over 10000 examples sold until the early 1980s. Until 1983 model production remained high, and in 1984 a version of the FRONTIERSMAN with a Pakkawood handle was introduced; the 1984 version did not have the patent logos engraved, the 1985 version had the patent engravings, and from 1986 the knife began to have the production date engraved on the blade.

Therefore, our proposed model is from 1984.

Knife withdrawn from private collection, dates from the very first production in 1984 (in fact, it does not indicate the patent engravings, affixed in 1985 and does not indicate the production date, affixed only from 1986). Globally in good condition, it has marks on the blade and handle due to the normal passage of time and the very aggressive scabbard which, containing a spring-loaded metal foil, irreparably scratches the blade both in insertion and extraction - It still has the factory sharpening and comes with a compass in the tang and two harpoons already engaged on the guard branch; lacking instead the box and additional accessories - Checked and certified by our in-house laboratory.

Il JB2 è realizzato in acciaio Sandvik 13C26 con copertura DLC al tungsteno.

La parte finale ha un foro con un angolo tagliente di 270° ed uno spessore di 2mm. specificatamente studiato per tagliare cinture di sicurezza e paracord garantendo la massima sicurezza.

Al termine dell'impugnatura trovano invece posto un pratico skull-crasher ed una chiave esagonale adatta ad aprire bombole di ossigeno.

Il tutto è corredato da un pratico fodero in Nylon adatto anche per aviolanci.
