Over the years, FTA has produced hundreds of thousands of aluminium components for coffee makers from the most prestigious Italian brands.

This contribution has enabled the aesthetic and functional evolution of the moka pot, a timeless symbol of Italian coffee.

In May 2024, with this long heritage behind it, ANGELINA decided to take on a new challenge: to design and manufacture its first coffee maker.

An ambitious project that combined tradition, technical know-how and the experience of people who have dedicated their lives to this sector. Induction coffee maker designed to dispense coffee quickly and efficiently by exploiting the heat generated by an induction hob. The structure is made of aluminium, a lightweight but resistant material that ensures good heat distribution and long-lasting performance. The coffee maker consists of three sections: the water tank, the chamber for ground coffee and the upper collector where the dispensed coffee is collected. The distinctive feature of an induction coffee maker is its base, which has a special layer, typically made of stainless steel, designed to optimise heat transfer on induction hobs, making the coffee maker compatible with these surfaces.

Aesthetically, the coffee maker can have a glossy or matt finish, depending on the surface treatment of the aluminium, and features a design that highlights the contrast between the metallic silver of the aluminium and the modern, elegant design. The handle is ergonomic and made of heat-resistant plastic to ensure a secure grip without the risk of burns, while the spout is designed to prevent dripping when pouring. The shape is compact, with simple curved lines and a functional design that makes it not only practical but also visually appealing, ideal for use in the kitchen and for display. The stainless steel safety valve prevents excessive pressure during the dispensing process, ensuring user safety.
