The Buck 551, often known as “King Charles II,” is a vintage folding knife produced in the United States between the early and mid-1990s in limited quantities.

Appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts of historic American knives, it is a more compact version than other Buck models from the same period, designed for everyday use but with careful workmanship and reliable materials. 

The 420HC stainless steel blade offers good edge retention and corrosion resistance, while the laminated wood scales with polished steel bolsters give it a classic, understated look that echoes the style of traditional Buck knives.

* Condition: Overall in good condition, mechanically perfect, shows some signs of wear and age on the wooden handle with a deep notch on the tang with material missing a couple of mm thick near the lanyard hole and some signs of age and wear on the steel heads and steel blade. The sheath is in good condition, never used on a belt, also with signs of age on the outer surfaces and on the automatic button
