An exceptional wine, which Lambrecht described as ‘the most beautiful and complex he had ever tasted’, stored for over ten years in a collector's cellar because it was considered ‘too good to open’. ‘Coravin was born out of my desire to enjoy a glass of wine without having to open the whole bottle,’ says the founder. ‘When I tasted that glass of Hermitage, I truly understood the power of this freedom. How does it work?
The ultra-thin needle penetrates the cork without damaging it. 
During pouring, a capsule of pure argon gas creates a protective atmosphere that prevents oxidation.
