NITECORE introduces the new high-performance rechargeable flashlight with AA batteries, the MT2A Pro, the latest addition to the MT series. Thanks to the UHi 20 LED, it can achieve higher brightness and extended range with superior ease of use.
Traditionally, AA flashlights were known for their limited brightness and range, disappointing many users. However, with the UHi 20 LED, the MT2A Pro increases brightness to a staggering 1,000 lumens, a 190% leap from its predecessor, and offers a range of 255 meters, ideal for everyday carry, emergency lighting, outdoor work, and more.
The MT2A Pro comes standard with a rechargeable lithium battery NL1416R with a capacity of 1,600mAh, a continuous discharge current of 5A, and a USB-C charging port. As an additional feature, the flashlight also works with AA batteries, whether alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable, ensuring user convenience in any outdoor scenario. It is suitable for concealed carry with a tube diameter of 17.2mm (0.68") and weighs only 87.6g (3.45 oz) (excluding the clip). The body is precision-machined with CNC processing and features non-slip knurling to ensure a secure grip even with sweaty or wet hands or while wearing gloves.
The MT2A Pro is easy to use with a single rear switch for operation. The U-shaped rear cap is designed to prevent accidental activation with the ability to stand upright. Impressively, it has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and can withstand drops from 1 meter.

Don't just evaluate lumens (amount of light). Also consider the throw (distance in meters), the flood (beam width), and the candelas (cd), which indicate the intensity of the center spot. A searchlight is different from a camping or tactical light.
The current professional standard is the 21700 lithium battery, which offers greater capacity than the 18650. Many Nitecore models are USB-C rechargeable, ideal for modern, fast, and safe use.
