Nitecore - HA13 RGB - Outdoor headlamp - 350 lumens and 80 metres
The Nitecore HA13 is a compact outdoor headlamp with white and RGB light, a maximum output of 350 lumens and a beam distance of up to 80 metres. It runs on 3 included AAA batteries and is compatible with the optional NITECORE HLB1500 1,500 mAh rechargeable battery pack, sold separately. It features four white-light levels, SOS and Beacon modes, electronic lockout and an IP66 rating.The NITECORE HA13 is an entry-level headlamp designed for hiking, camping and outdoor activities. It combines a high-efficiency white light source with RGB lights in a compact body offering two power options.
Lighting system
The 4-core NiteLab UHE LED reaches 350 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 80 metres and a peak intensity of 1,595 cd. The one-piece optical system uses a faceted lens to distribute the beam. Available levels are High at 350 lumens, Mid at 170 lumens, Low at 60 lumens and Ultralow at 6 lumens. SOS and Beacon modes are also available.
Dual power options
The HA13 runs on 3 AAA batteries, included in the package, or on the NITECORE HLB1500 1,500 mAh rechargeable battery pack, sold separately. With AAA batteries, the stated runtimes are 3 hours at 350 lumens, 6 hours 30 minutes at 170 lumens, 14 hours at 60 lumens and 94 hours at 6 lumens. With the HLB1500, runtimes increase to 6 hours, 10 hours, 23 hours 30 minutes and 160 hours at the same levels.
The lamp does not have a built-in USB-C port. The USB-C port is found only on the optional HLB1500 battery.
RGB lights
The red light provides 5 lumens in constant-on mode, with a runtime of 40 hours using AAA batteries and 60 hours with the HLB1500, plus a slow-flashing mode. The green light produces 10 lumens, with a runtime of 34 hours using AAA batteries and 46 hours with the HLB1500. The blue light produces 3 lumens, with a runtime of 32 hours using AAA batteries and 42 hours with the HLB1500.
Red light helps preserve night vision; green light is suitable for map reading and wildlife observation; blue light is intended for night fishing. A memory function recalls the last RGB colour used.
Controls, construction and durability
Two buttons with different shapes and surfaces make the controls easy to identify by touch. The electronic lockout prevents accidental activation during transport. The body is made of special polycarbonate resistant to impacts and low temperatures. The lamp withstands drops from 1 metre and offers an IP66 rating against dust and powerful water jets.
Uses
The white and RGB lighting configuration is suitable for hiking, camping, night running, night fishing, wildlife observation, astronomy, night photography and emergency use.
