The sword of Ivanhoe, disinherited and exiled by his father Cedric the Saxon for swearing love to Lady Rowena.

The story narrated takes place in England in the year 1194, at the time of King Richard the Lionheart and the Crusades, in conjunction with the controversies that divide the Saxons and the Normans.

The Knight Wilfred of Ivanhoe, son of the Saxon noble Cedric, loves, in return, the young lady Rowena. Cedric contrasts the love between the two, as he has already politically decided to marry Rowena to Athelstane with the aim of returning after a long time, a Saxon lineage to the throne and tries to remove Ivanhoe, friend of the Norman king Riccardo Cuor of Leone.

The young man thus participates in the crusades, following Riccardo. John the Landless in the absence of his brother illegally appropriates the throne. Upon returning from the Crusades, Ivanhoe participates in a tournament in which he manages to win against all the champions affiliated with the usurper. The defeat weighs on the pride of the Norman nobility who will make him prisoner with his father Cedric, Rowena and Athelstane. King Richard with the help of Locksley (Robin Hood), will be able to free them, so that Ivanhoe will be able to marry Lady Rowena.

The blade's flattened diamond shape and equally wide fuller reduced weight, yet retained strength in the end of the blade by stopping just short of the tip. It was equally effective for slashing against lightly armored opponents and for thrusting into more heavily protected enemies. The guard, similar to that of his father's sword, showed a warrior's flourish in that it was formed from a square-edged piece of steel that had been twisted before being curved into a crescent. The handgrip was wide like the blade, and the pommel was an elegant and simple piece of steel that added weight to balance the blade.

Under the command of Gandalf the WhiteTM the men of Gondor defended Minas Tirith, the Kingdom of Gondor, from within the city walls against the siege of Sauron. Greatly outnumbered by Sauron´s armies, the Gondorian infantry did not stand a chance in open war. Miraculously, with the use of their trebuchets and archers, the Gondorian army held their own until the nine Nazgûl, upon their fell beasts, swooped in destroying the trebuchets and forcing men to flee their posts. This distraction allowed the trolls to push their siege towers in, unleashing scores of orcs onto the walls of the city, and allowing the release of Mordor´s greatest weapon - Grond, a 150 foot iron battering ram shaped like a wolf. The gates of the city would not hold, driving the Gondorians back into the third level of the city. 

With much of the lower levels of Gondor in flames, it seemed as if it was on the verge of a catastrophic defeat, until suddenly the Riders of the Rohirrim appeared on the horizon, closing in and driving the armies of Mordor away from the city, thus ending the siege upon Gondor and entering into the Battle of the Pelennor fields. Although the Gondorians were technologically advanced compared to most races of Middle-earth, the design of the helm carries details reminiscent of Numenor. The barbut style helm - one piece, shoulder-length, and open-faced - finished off the suit of steel plate armor that a Gondorian infantryman wore. The smooth finish and flared bottom of the helm offered better neck protection, allowing blows to be deflected away from the body. The name was given in honor of the patron of Ned , Jon Arryn , while the name "Snow " in the North is traditionally given to the bastard children of high birth . Despite not being a legitimate Stark , Jon was accepted by his father and grew up along with the rest of the family. He had the same education in the same age -brother , Robb , with whom he is on good terms , along with Arya , Bran and Rickon . Sansa , by contrast, has always been indifferent , while Lady Catelyn has never accepted , often coming to hate him . Jon is physically very similar to his father, tall , with dark hair and gray eyes . It also has the honor and temperament .

Thorin was born in the year 2746 of the Third Era (T.E.), son of Thráin II and grandson of King Thrór, and heir to the title of King under the Mountain in Erebor. He also had two younger brothers, Frerin and Dís. In the year 2770, the Dragon Smaug, attracted by the wealth of the kingdom of Erebor, attacked him violently. The Dwarves, struck by surprise, were literally outclassed by the strength and powers of Smaug who, in a short time, managed to conquer the whole kingdom, conquer its spoils, and forced Thorin and his people to abandon their home. A few years later, the ogre Azog the Defiler began the battle of Azanulbizar (2799) at Nanduhirion at the Eastern Gate of Moria.

A peculiar characteristic of Celtic swords was the handle in the form of "X", otherwise known as anthropomorphic handle. The arms of the X constituted the lower limbs (wrapped around the "strength" of the blade) and higher than a human male whose head stood in the spot usually occupied by the knob. In the oldest specimens (sixth century BC), the anthropomorphic shape was very strong, with the "arms" of the man-handle raised in a praying position, almost forming a trident.
