Made entirely in the United States, this model is distinguished by the famous patented Bolt Action mechanism, an innovative locking system that ensures safety, reliability and an extremely smooth operation.
The blade in stainless steel, with plain edge and bead-blasted finish, offers a clean, technical and elegant look.
The textured GRN (Glass Reinforced Nylon) handle provides lightness, strength and excellent grip, making the knife practical and easy to handle, with a weight of only 74 grams.
This example comes complete with the original Gerber sheath and a set of two interchangeable blades, including a saw blade and a skinning blade, a rare configuration that further increases its collectible value.

* Condition: Overall in good condition, it has some minor signs of oxidation on the guard and pommel that have not been removed so as not to alter the original finish of the knife, and a couple of small cosmetic scratches on the blade. The sheath is present and perfectly usable, but discolored and “worn” in some parts due to the passage of time

Products included freehand knives, tools and razors. A branch of the company in Solingen was engaged in the production of knives including slipjoint, automatic knives, daggers, machetes, bowie, razors and kitchen knives. Over the years various brands and 22 patents held by the company have been created and thousands of pieces sold worldwide. Carl Schlieper was liquidated for bankruptcy in 1993. The production of the brand was subsequently acquired by Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen.

Knife from a private collection - presumably produced in the early 1980s - overall in excellent condition, with factory sharpening - accompanied by original leather sheath - checked and certified by our in-house laboratory.
Carl Schlieper Stahlwarenfabrik & Export was originally a trading company founded between 1754 and 1798 in Remscheid, Germany. Products included knives, tools and freehand razors. A branch of the company in Solingen was involved in the production of knives including slipjoint, automatic knives, daggers, machetes, bowies, razors, and kitchen knives. Over the years, several trademarks were created and 22 patents held by the company and millions of pieces sold worldwide. Carl Schlieper was liquidated by bankruptcy in 1993. Production of the brand was later acquired by Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen.
