Folding knife made according to specifications requested by the Italian Army unit 185th RAO (Regiment for Target Acquisition) and currently in service with the same unit. The service version differs from the civilian one only by the complete absence of writings or logos on the blade.
HISTORICAL NOTES ON THE UNIT:
The 185th RAO of the "Folgore" is a unit with ancient traditions, yet relatively new in its current form. It was established on 3 April 2000 following the reorganization of the 185th Paratroopers Artillery Regiment. Based in Livorno, it is an atypical artillery unit currently included within the Special Forces framework.
Composed entirely of volunteer personnel, the 185th RAO selects its members through physical tests and a qualification course structured in modules of increasing difficulty. The tasks assigned to RAO operators are numerous and highly sensitive: they involve gathering information on enemy targets and relaying it to command. More generally, this can be described as reconnaissance in sensitive areas.
"It is therefore clear," the Army emphasizes, "that the activity of the acquisition operator takes place mainly in hostile territory, in small self-sufficient teams operating in isolation."
RAO paratroopers are specialists in infiltration and exfiltration techniques and are able to operate in the field for up to 8–10 days without external resupply. They know how to avoid capture, escape and evade from enemy-controlled areas and, above all, how to identify, define and assess strategically relevant targets. Since 2002, the year of its reorganization, detachments of the 185th Regiment have operated in all major operational theaters: from the Balkans to Afghanistan and Iraq. In these areas they mainly carry out medium- and long-range reconnaissance and surveillance activities within the area of responsibility of the Italian contingent.

During World War II, the original knife was part of the British Army's equipment. At the end of the war, thanks to the “Marshall Plan” for European recovery, the Italian Army received some of the weapons and equipment supplied to the Allies during the war, including this multifunctional tool. It was later reproduced in Italy in three modified versions.
Extrema Ratio, to bid farewell to this historic and renowned knife, presents a final exclusive version, limited to only 130 pieces.
Like its predecessor, the M1A1 LAST CALL is equipped with a can opener, bottle opener, screwdriver, and knot-tying peg. The reversible clip is designed for maximum concealability.
The drop blade, like all the other tools listed above, features Geotech Camo customization, Extrema Ratio's innovative and original camouflage pattern, created using laser engraving.

Michael Walker is to the knife industry what Michael Jordan is to basketball or Wayne Gretzky is to hockey. He shattered established standards, venturing into uncharted territory and elevating the art of knife-making to new heights of innovation and modernity.
In 1980, the folding knife industry had few locking innovations, and only the traditional Back Lock existed. In 1981, Walker invented, developed, and ultimately trademarked the Michael Walker LinerLock®, adding a leaf spring that locked the blade open, making it a true one-handed folding knife. He also included a latch to keep the blade closed by utilizing the force of the internal leaf spring, preventing it from opening in the user’s pocket.
This innovation paved the way for modern cutlery, enabling numerous new designs and future developments leading up to today’s SubFrame Lock, Frame Lock, Flipper Folder, and ball-bearing-equipped IKBS opening systems.
Other inventions include the “Lake and Walker Safety System” (LAWKS), BLADELock, Ball Bearing Lock, and Tough Lock.
Some of the manufacturers he has collaborated with include Spyderco, Columbia River Knife and Tool, Schrade, Böker, and Klotzli.
Walker’s knives and designs have inspired many other custom knife makers, notably Bob Terzuola and Ernest Emerson. Terzuola credits Walker with teaching him how to make a liner-lock folder, and Emerson has stated that seeing one of Walker’s knives at a gun show inspired him to become a knifemaker.
Walker’s knives can be found at the Artifex Gallery in Taos and in the most prestigious collections around the world.

* Inspected and Certified by our in-house laboratoryThe Extrema Ratio RAO C is a compact folding knife derived from the iconic RAO II.
Thanks to its design, the RAO C is a tool that, despite its small size, manages to guarantee the same robustness and reliability as its larger counterpart while offering improved portability and handling.
The handle consists of two finely crafted anodized aluminum scales, to which Extrema Ratio applies a hard-anodizing treatment, making the handle more resistant to wear and corrosion.
Two steel frames help increase the handle’s sturdiness to withstand the most demanding uses.
The opening lock mechanism is particularly durable, as it is supplemented by a safety system that transforms it into a true fixed blade. The primary safety on the blade is activated by lifting and lowering the locking pin. To ensure maximum safety for the user, a practical and quick secondary safety has been added, which can be activated simply by moving the locking pin horizontally.
The reversible clip is designed to allow for concealed carry in a pocket, making the knife invisible from the outside.
The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish.
To lighten the steel frames, a laser-cut template based on the RAO C profile was created, which was then used to make a gadget included with the knife.

* Inspected and Certified by our in-house laboratoryThe Rockstead HIGO II in titanium is not simply a high-end folding knife: it is the ultimate embodiment of Japanese philosophy applied to cutting, where every detail is pushed to the limits of perfection.
The minimalist, flawless titanium handle serves as a counterpoint to a ZDP-189 blade hardened to extreme hardness and finished with an almost unreal mirror polish. The result is not merely aesthetic: it is a living surface, capable of gliding through material with a smoothness and continuity that few knives in the world can offer.
Rockstead’s proprietary convex geometry does more than just cut: it separates, controls, and guides. It is a blade designed for those who recognize the difference between extreme sharpness and true long-term efficiency.
The HIGO II is an object for connoisseurs, where tolerances, treatments, and finishes are not mere technical specifications, but part of a precise language.

Only a few companies, including Spyderco, have developed the techniques necessary to work, temper, and sharpen it, resulting in reliable, high-performance blades.
The full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade maximizes the qualities of Maxamet, offering strength, smoothness, excellent edge retention, and precision in the tip. The C70 A.T.R. (At The Ready) embodies the essence of a high-performance tactical folder. Awarded “Knife of the Year 2003” by Knives Illustrated, this model showcases the most advanced technological solutions developed by Spyderco. The handle, precision-machined from a block of satin-finished stainless steel, is lightened by a series of holes that reduce weight and serve as tactile reference points for quick grip changes. The same holes are replicated on the contoured clip, ensuring balance and consistency in indexing.
The ends of the handle widen into a generous finger choil and a pinky rest, ensuring a stable grip in all conditions. The Compression Lock, fully integrated into the titanium scale, offers maximum strength and is rated for heavy-duty use and MBC applications.
The VG-10 blade, hollow-ground sharp, features a non-sharp swedge and a profile that combines a solid point with excellent penetration and cutting ability. Above the classic Spyderco hole is the Cobra Hood, which naturally guides the thumb during quick opening and acts as a control platform when the knife is in use.
The clip is configurable for both right and left tip-up carry thanks to the pre-drilled holes.

To ensure maximum reliability, extremely robust materials, increased thicknesses, and a solid and secure back lock opening/closing system have been used.
A manual safety lock ensures maximum protection during use, drastically reducing the risk of accidental closure. When inserted in the closed position, it also prevents the knife from being immediately used against the operator in the event of theft.
Materials and workmanship
All components are machined from solid blocks using high-precision CNC machines, while assembly, adjustment, and sharpening are carried out by hand. The blade is made of N690 cobalt stainless steel, known for its high mechanical strength, great cutting ability, edge retention, and excellent corrosion resistance. It has a flat grind and a hardness of 58 HRC.The scales are made of Anticorodal, an aluminum alloy that is highly resistant to stress and oxidation. The tang, made of hardened N690, acts as an effective emergency glass breaker. Screws, pins, and clips are made of burnished stainless steel, while the blade, lever, and tang are protected by Testudo treatment, which is highly resistant to abrasion and oxidation. The scales are black anodized.

* Checked and certified by our in-house laboratoryROK, part of the SOLID knife family, is made from a single piece of aluminum or titanium and introduces two major innovations. The first is the new H.WAYL System, a LionSteel patent that allows the clip to disappear inside the handle when the knife is in use, reappearing only when needed. The second is the integration of NFC technology into the packaging, which allows the user to immediately access all product information—from maintenance and the production process to content dedicated to the LionSteel brand—simply by placing their smartphone close to the packaging.
As with the TRE model, the user can remove the flipper to obtain a more traditional, two-handed blade opening. The ROK also retains the proven Rotoblock safety system and a steel tip at the end of the blade lock bar, which helps prevent breakage or wear due to contact with the blade itself.

The “Shop Built” line by Ansø of Denmark was created to offer Jens Ansø's original designs in a more accessible and reproducible form than his custom knives, which are traditionally produced in extremely limited quantities. All “Shop Built” models are designed by Jens Ansø in Denmark and made by his team of skilled craftsmen, who take care of every stage of production with great attention to detail.
This product range maintains the same design philosophy, build quality, and craftsmanship that have made Ansø's work famous, but with a more structured and sustainable production process, designed to satisfy a wider audience without compromising on high-quality materials and finishes.
The AROS model
The AROS is a compact and versatile folding knife, designed as a utility tool for everyday use (EDC). Designed by Jens Ansø, it stands out for its unique design and precision engineering, designed to offer superior performance in everyday activities: from opening packages to more controlled cutting and carving.
The AROS features an innovative integral monoblock frame on each side, incorporating pivot screws, button lock, clip, and lanyard hole in a single precision-machined piece. The two parts of the handle are securely joined with titanium screws on the back, ensuring strength and a clean line.
The 2.5-inch (64 mm) blade now features a hollow grind, a new feature that further improves cutting capabilities while maintaining a slim and elegant profile. The flipper tab is designed to ensure quick opening and, once open, also functions as finger protection. The careful shaping of the blade tang contributes to a comfortable and secure grip, confirming Ansø's focus on functionality and user experience.

* Checked and certified by our in-house laboratoryIn the 1980s, Jimmy Lile developed an elegant folding knife with a button lock mechanism, known as the “Lile Lock.” This patented system consists of a front button on the handle that unlocks the blade when opening and locks it in the cutting position, ensuring safety and ease of use. The monolithic nickel-silver guides support the D2 steel blade, while the micarta inserts on the scales give the knife a refined look.
This is a generously sized knife, produced in limited quantities between the 1970s and 1980s. The numbered examples bearing engravings such as the patent number 4148140 are now highly sought-after collector's items of great economic value.
This folding model represents a perfect balance between functionality and collectible design: compact and easy to handle, with a reliable lock, high-quality materials, and meticulous details, embodying Lile's attention to craftsmanship even in a context other than the famous survival knife.

The Demko Knives AD20.5 is a high-quality folder offered at a very competitive price. Fun to use and practical for everyday use, it owes much of its appeal to the innovative Shark Lock: a radical system that guarantees a secure blade lock, keeping your fingers safe at all times. The mechanism is activated by pulling back the “fin” with your thumb or index finger, in a movement similar to that of a flipper opener. Once opened, the blade locks securely and the fin becomes a comfortable thumb rest, complete with jimping for superior control. Additional jimping on the back of the blade and an optional high grip further enhance the handling and versatility of this folding knife.
The AD20.5 represents the perfect balance that every EDC seeks to achieve, and will easily earn a permanent place in your pocket as soon as it enters your collection.
