Inspired by the dark and fascinating figure from Greek mythology, the Echidna represents the convergence of primordial strength, mystery, and modern design. A hybrid creature with the features of a woman and a serpent, Echidna was considered the progenitor of some of antiquity’s most famous monsters, including the Hydra and Cerberus. From this inspiration comes the Boker Plus Echidna, a knife designed by French designer Raphaël Durand, capable of transforming mythological allure into a functional and contemporary object.

The model embodies the distinctive aesthetic language of the Durand series, featuring an ergonomically shaped handle with pronounced finger grooves, crafted from a sturdy yet lightweight GRN/TPE composite that ensures a secure grip even during prolonged use. The design is complemented by a reliable back lock mechanism and a lanyard hole, offering various carrying options.

The drop-point blade, crafted from D2 steel with a satin finish, combines excellent cutting performance, wear resistance, and reliability for everyday use. The designer from Lake Constance has fulfilled the demanding desires of Asgard, presenting a fully functional pocket knife that excels in even the most challenging cutting tasks. Powerful, fearless, and above all practical: the Hermod Folder impresses in every aspect.

Powerful, the blade on ball bearings in D2 with a stonewash finish. Epic, the ergonomic handle made from G10, CNC-milled with anti-slip diagonal mosaic texture, seamlessly connects to the tip-up clip. The nail for opening and the impressive linerlock for blade locking are legendary. An additional safety pin or forelock is screwed into the front of the handle to increase work and transport safety and prevent accidental closure or opening. The jimping on the spine of the blade, extending over the entire top of the handle including the overlays, ensures maximum user ergonomics.

The spacer that integrates a lanyard hole, also usable as a lifesaving glass breaker, offers additional transport options. Supplied with a high-quality nylon sheath and the spirit of the Nordic blacksmith.
