The Socom Delta represents the modern evolution of a Microtech icon, setting extremely high standards in the world of tactical and utility knives. A direct descendant of the legendary Socom introduced in 1996, the Delta carries on its legacy while taking it to the next level in terms of ergonomics, durability, and operational versatility. This rugged reimagining of the crossbar lock features Microtech’s signature stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series’ activation switches. The blade’s wide cutout provides space for reverse middle-finger movements and for the standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. If neither of these is preferred, simply pull down the RAM-LOK and the blade opens with a simple flick of the wrist. The aluminum handles are slightly textured, offering excellent grip potential for both standard and reverse grips.

Microtech's Select-Fire is their 2011 offering in the D/A (Dual Action) market. While there are numerous Dual Action offerings among manufacturers, this design won the Most Innovative award at the 2011 Blade Show. This model features a button for automatic deployment of the side opening blade, a large liner lock, oversized thumb stud for manual deployement, index choil for higher grip allowing precision cutting, anti-slip thumb grooves, and a pocket clip. Microtech's Select-Fire comes with a tool to lock the knife's automatic capability rendering it a manual only operating knife.
