Made in Italy - Moulds corzetti TWIN - MANDALA - 2 pieces
Make every dish special and amaze your guests or children with decorated pasta.
In this pack you will find moulds for corzetti, a traditional type of pasta typical of Liguria and Tuscany.
Use:
After creating the dough, flour the two moulds well and press a portion of the dough into them.
Gently lift the upper mould, remove the dough and cut with a knife or, better still, a pasta cutter.
The moulded Corzetti (‘cruxetti’)
appeared in the Middle Ages, during the Renaissance period.
Noble families of the time apparently ordered their cooks to make a type of pasta bearing their coat of arms, all in order to remind diners of the importance of their family and to reaffirm their dominance over the territory.
The engravings were usually different on the two sides. The name comes from the stylised image of a small cross (‘cruxetta’) with which one side of these medallions was originally decorated, hence the name ‘cruxettu’.
In eastern Liguria, the word ‘corzetto’ means both the wooden mould and the paste thus engraved.
LEONARDIWOOD COMPANY HISTORY:
Leonardi Wood is a family-run company with 66 years of history. Leonardi Wood objects are designed with the intention of bringing out all the qualities of this fantastic material.
Designers and carpenters work every day, side by side, with the aim of transforming wood into ever new, attractive and functional products that convey warmth and naturalness.
‘It was my grandfather Bruno,’ says Massimo Leonardi, 29, who has been with the company for three years, ’who founded the company in 1953. He had worked as an employee for a brush factory in Tione and decided to set up on his own with a friend.
Two to three types of articles, simple. The focus was on large quantities.
Today, on the contrary, quality and customisation are the keys to success in the market.
After Grandpa Bruno, Danilo and Arrigo joined the company, bringing the first innovations. We are in the 1980s, and from brushes they moved on to small wooden objects, souvenirs, gift items.
Like the trees, they have strong, historical roots: their workshop, in the heart of the Trentino mountains, has always tried to convey their passion and respect for nature with beautiful, sustainable and sought-after wooden objects. Their wood products respect nature.
They use PEFC-certified wood from sustainably managed forests.
Currently 100% of the electricity used in the workshop comes from renewable energy sources.

CrushGrind - Billund - Grinder set 2 pieces
CrushGrind - Billund - Grinder set 2 pieces
An innovative and different mechanism CrushGrind holds the record of having incorporated the ceramic mechanism, invented by the Japanese Mitsui Kamioka, into a millstone and first introduced it to the market in 1994.
The mechanism, patented and guaranteed for 25 years, is larger than those found on the market, which allows for more than double the amount of salt, pepper, spices or dried herbs ground than the competition.
Because of its shape, all types of salt, pepper, spices and dried herbs can be ground indiscriminately.
Furthermore, it is easy to clean: when switching from one spice to another, the gear can be cleaned by grinding coarse salt, adjusting the grinder to the minimum. In addition, unlike all other grinders, the CrushGrind is detachable, so it can be easily cleaned with water and detergent, taking care to let it dry thoroughly.
Many models for every need The CrushGrind grinder offer includes numerous models, intended for consumers or the on-trade. In addition to models made of natural materials, such as wood, the company also offers products made entirely or partly of biocomposite material, obtained by mixing wood fibre with oil from paper production.
Such as the Billund model, not by chance named after the Danish city, home of Lego, whose shape is reminiscent of coloured bricks, available in various colours.
The Billund grinder is an upside-down grinder that leaves no residue on the table.
It has a silicone cap on the bottom that makes it easy to fill with the spices or blends you like to use.
The Billund series is a fun and playful design, inspired by the colourful building blocks of Denmark.
It is based on a bio-composite material consisting of wood-based cellulose fibres from certified, sustainably managed forests. The material gives the products a warm, natural and earthy feel. In addition, the material has a low carbon footprint and, unlike crop-based biomaterials, this biocomposite does not interfere with the food production chain.
