The Bark River Ultra Lite Field Knife is a versatile knife designed to excel in bushcraft activities but capable of handling many other functions. Its clip/harpoon blade is made of CPM 3V steel, offering excellent resistance and holds its edge well, making it ideal for processing game and food preparation. However, it is important to protect it from moisture and acids, as it is not completely stainless; regular maintenance, such as cleaning and applying oil, is recommended to preserve its quality.

Exclusive knife in entirely handcrafted "Comix" coloration, part of a batch of products made especially for the Atlanta 2023 Blade Show.

"Comix" type coloring refers to a coloring technique used in comic books and illustrations that is inspired by the style of traditional comic books. This style of coloring often features flat, bright colors with sharp edges between different shades. Some hallmarks of comix-type coloring include:

Flat backgrounds: Areas of solid color are applied without shading or complex tonal gradations. This gives a more "clean" and stylized look to the image.

Sharp edges: The borders between different shades of color are often marked by black or dark contour lines. These lines define the boundaries of the various elements in the image and accentuate the contrast between the different colors.

Bright colors: In comix-type coloring, bright, saturated colors are often used to create visual impact. These colors can be used to distinguish characters or to emphasize certain elements of the image.

Simplified shading: Although comix-type coloring may include shadows and highlights to add depth, these are often simplified compared to other coloring techniques. Shadows may be represented by areas of darker color or simple lines or brush strokes.

This is the strongest (thickest) knife we've ever made. The strength of this 3/8" thick piece of 5160 spring steel is impressive. It has a full handle, covered in tan burlap Micarta grips.

As the name suggests, the 'Lil Roughneck' is very similar to the tough dudes who do the hard, heavy work of oil rigs. The term Roughneck is now a commonly known term associated with rough and tough guys.

Roughnecks are strong-willed, hardworking, and keep on 'hanging in'. With that in mind... this is definitely a special knife for a special boy.

The C.U.B. (Compact Utility Blade) is designed to serve as a compact and lightweight sidekick to a machete/bolo/parang in a tropical environment or of a tomahawk/axe in a forest environment. CARE AND MAINTENANCE: This product uses a NON stainless steel with a high carbon content - it is therefore recommended to wash it under running water and dry it immediately manually with a clean cotton cloth or absorbent paper. To avoid the formation of rust and oxidation it is also highly recommended, after having dried it well, to protect the blade with a lubricant (eg grease, paraffin, lanolin, vaseline) that creates a protective barrier between the steel and the atmosphere.
