Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with The Fällkniven Phantom model, a folding knife that is not only aesthetically appealing but also functional, with well-balanced proportions between handle and blade.

The blade uses advanced Swedish powdered steel (Elmax from Uddeholm), equipped with a convex edge for maximum performance. The handle is made of ironwood harvested in the southwestern United States, known for its density (1.2 kg/dm³) that makes it heavy and strong enough not to float.

The design of the Phantom follows the Scandinavian principle of "Form follows function," favoring clean, classic lines without superfluous details.

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with a black fibreglass handle and a Tanto blade with an exciting two-tone finish (stonewashed/satin-finished lengthwise).

The Kudu Hunter fixed-blade knife offers an excellent balance between form and function: the wide drop point blade is reminiscent of its predecessor model Harpoon, but without the dedicated thumb rest. Carl Schlieper Stahlwarenfabrik & Export was originally a trading company founded between 1754 and 1798 in Remscheid in Germany. Products included freehand knives, tools and razors. A branch of the company in Solingen was engaged in the production of knives including slipjoint, automatic knives, daggers, machetes, bowie, razors and kitchen knives. Over the years various brands and 22 patents held by the company have been created and thousands of pieces sold worldwide. Carl Schlieper was liquidated for bankruptcy in 1993. The production of the brand was subsequently acquired by Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen.

The Magnum Collection 2022 is an outdoor knife with an extremely robust drop point blade in satin D2. The screwable titanium handguard and the pronounced indentation of the fingers prevent involuntary blade slipping and thus safety at work. The OD green grip scales of the full tang construction are made of textured micarta and are held in place by decorative titanium screws. The combination of ergonomic design and pleasing shape also offers an exceptionally fuller grip feel. This unique collector's knife is strictly limited to 1999 pieces worldwide. Carl Schlieper Stahlwarenfabrik & Export was originally a trading company founded between 1754 and 1798 in Remscheid, Germany. Products included knives, tools and freehand razors. A branch of the company in Solingen was involved in the production of knives including slipjoint, automatic knives, daggers, machetes, bowies, razors, and kitchen knives. Over the years, several trademarks were created and 22 patents held by the company and millions of pieces sold worldwide. Carl Schlieper was liquidated by bankruptcy in 1993. Production of the brand was later acquired by Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen.

Knife collected from a private collection in like new condition with original box - Knife made in 2017 by the famous Japanese knifemaker Takeshi Saji - The knife is supplied together with the sheath made by Saji, with an additional sheath made by the Italian cutler Simone Tonolli. This second sheath allows horizontal attachment to the belt. Checked and certified by our internal laboratory.

Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His workshop is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. The choice of materials for the finishes (mainly natural), the essential lines - evocative of use - and the chromatic combinations of rare impact make his creations unique and unmistakable in the panorama of world cutlery and, at home, they have earned him the prestigious title of Master.
