The Rocky Mountain Spike is the result of several months of testing and fine-tuning in the field. The original design was to flank or add a large knife, such as a TOPS Machete or Power Eagle, to offer the user a variety of other applications on smaller projects. The size and steel mass of large knives certainly have their place. However, every once in a while a situation arises where one wishes to have a smaller knife, and particularly one with a narrow blade.

After using and abusing the prototypes in the field, those who have tested the small Rocky Mountain have seen a wide variety of cutting, scraping, splitting, EDC, and separating tasks for which this tool can be used effectively.

We now believe that the Rocky Mountain Spike is an excellent stand-alone toolfor hikers, bikers, campers, boaters, weekend outdoor enthusiasts, and long trips. It can be worn on your belt or kept in your backpack, boot or any other convenient place. Whether it is for general outdoor activities, at work or at home, this is the tool for you.

The Mission Team 21 is a no-nonsense tactical knife that can also easily carry out many activities in the field. The handle has been designed to remain in the operator's hand even in difficult situations thanks to the finger grooves, finger guard and jimping. The Operator 7 is huge! TOPS Knives went well with heavy steel and handles to make a hefty, well-balanced knife. It also has those classic American fighting knife aesthetics that make it look as good as it will perform.

Made out of 5/16 "thick 1075, the differentially heat-treated blade with a very strong thorn. The entire handle is also over 1 "thick once assembled to fill out the user's hand much like an ax or hatchet handle would.

Because it is a tool, it's got to be comfortable. It's made for the men that do not back down. This knife will find its place with door kickers, survivalists, and weekend warriors alike.
