In Norse mythology, Andhrimnir tirelessly took care of the physical well-being of the gods and the honorably fallen heroes, who thoroughly enjoyed their existence in the carefree warriors' paradise, Valhalla.

For this purpose, he slaughtered the beast Sæhrimnir day after day, which was then resurrected at night to be eaten again the following day. A fleeting glance at Midgard (the Norse term for earth/world) would have elevated the chef's status even further in the eyes of the gods. This is because the knife craftsman Dirk Hofmeister knows like no other how to create mythical blades infused with Norse magic.

The Andhrimnir Mini bears the unmistakable hallmarks of Midgard's full tang constructed knives, with a 6mm thick Wharncliffe blade made of D2 in a two-tone finish with grooves on both sides and jimpings to ensure optimal functionality and maximum stability for all daily cutting tasks. The distinctive design, the Tracker concept with two separate blades, the impact-resistant 1095 carbon steel and the remarkable price-performance ratio quickly made Dave Wenger's Boker Plus Mini Tracker a top seller in the bushcraft and outdoor scene. While the front of the larger Tracker variants is primarily suitable for chopping and splitting, the blade shape of the smaller size of the new Boker Plus Micro Tracker shows completely different advantages and qualities.

The Micro Tracker shares the benefits of two sharpening angles on one blade with its bigger brothers. The massive survival knife blade features two different bevel surfaces, ideal for cutting, scraping, digging and prying. This knife is the civil version of the one currently supplied to the COFS: Joint Forces Command for Special Forces Operations. Their motto, engraved on the blade and on the ABS suitcase, is "etiam si omnes, ego non", a Latin phrase dealing with the Gospel according to Matthew (26, 33-34) which translated literally means "even if all, I do not" .

This project, sponsored by the COFS (Operational Forces Special Command) in the person of Gen.Bertolini, had already been suggested by some collectors of vintage weapons.

The restyling of the famous "Paratrooper dagger dagger mod.1939", an important piece of Italian military history.

The knife, although borrowing the line, the structure and the proportions of the original, has been strengthened, enriched with functional modifications and made with materials with modern military specifications.

Unexpectedly, the result of these few modifications is an extremely functional and effective dagger, absolutely competitive with the best contemporary military knives.

The sheath is rigid from the ankle, in the typical manner in which the bayonet is carried by Italian paratroopers.

All the knives in this series have straight KRATON handles with an ergonomic design whose shape and size, in addition to a solid grip, allows a rapid change of grip from straight (Sabre Grip) to reverse (Reverse Grip). A stainless steel Allen screw allows the disassembly for maintenance and lubrication of the tang through increasing the operational life of the knife.

The sheath is suitable for airdrop, underwater and amphibious operations and can be attached to a belt or equipment.
