Rivsalt was born from the mind of designer

Swedish designer Jens Sandriger during a trip to Beijing.

Having dinner at a famous Japanese restaurant in the city, Jens thought: this is really cool!

Before his eyes, the chef had just ground a Himalayan pink salt gem directly onto the guests' plates. That's when the Rivsalt idea was born: a unique dining experience that puts salt truly at the center of the table and the kitchen. From China to Sweden, the Rivsalt family of products soon spread around the world, becoming a must-have for taste enthusiasts.

The elements that make up the Rivsalt family of products are a synthesis of what the Earth offers and what man can skillfully work with.

Untreated oak bases and stainless steel graters highlight natural raw materials that are anything but common and, at times, rare.

Each element in the Rivsalt line fills objects hitherto considered everyday with meaning and value: salt, licorice, pepper, and toothpick become experiences out of the ordinary.

Rivsalt -Freeze & Serve - Himalayan Salt Plates FREEZE & SERVE includes four himalayan salt plates, which turn any starter or dessert into a RIVSALT gastronomic experience. to use, simply pop the plates into your freezer for a couple of hours and take them out again just before serving. the plates have one flat side; great for starters like sashimi, tartar or salad, and another side with a rounded cavity; perfect for desserts like vanilla ice cream with grated raw LIQUORICE. In Michelin 2-star restaurant, Vila Joya in Albufeira Portugal, FREEZE & SERVE plates are used to exquisitely present butter. How to freeze & serve Freeze the plates for 2-3 hours. Take out just before serving. After using, wipe clean with a sponge using as little water as possible and no detergent. Dry with a kitchen towel. Leave to dry for at least 12 hours before placing back in original packaging. Store in low humidity conditions.

Rivsalt - grater pink salt Himalayano- Rivsalt is a new way to appreciate a vital and valuable as the salt. It consists of a rose bud pure Himalayan salt, a mini-grater Japanese stainless steel and a cylindrical base of oak untreated. Each bud of Himalayan salt has an irregular shape, different from one another, each grain that is ground is unique: can be pink, like crystal from which it comes, or white, as the striations that characterize it. Rivsalt you take the right of the center of your table, creating a satisfying experience gustatory, tactile and visual.

Rivsalt - Refill 3 pink Himalayan salt. The Himalayan salt is extremely different from common table salt: it is refined and is not treated with any chemical process. It is compact crystals of pink color, rich in minerals, including iron. The coloration of gemstones is due precisely to the presence of this mineral and to the fact that do not undergo any bleaching treatment, as is the case in the common cooking salt. In pink salt it is also present as magnesium, trace element essential for our cells, which is instead removed from the common salt as guilty to absorb moisture and make the salt compact. Free of toxins and pollutants, the gems of Himalayan salt, at the time of extraction, have the same purity of when they are deposited in the ground millions of years ago. These crystals are extracted from the rock and cut into pieces or ground on site, to get to our tables untouched. Among the several benefits that are assigned are reducing the risks of high blood pressure and water retention, the support of the respiratory activity and promote a more regular sleep.
