Higonokami - Kanekoma knife - Black Small Pocket Knife Japan
Charming knife used by the Japanese farmer.
As is typical for many agricultural tools, this Japanese knife is also extremely simple but the result of a centuries-old improvement that has found the difficult balance between form and function, and between cost and benefit.
The main feature is certainly the quality of the blade, in fact it uses a three-layer San Mai steel, of which the very hard one in the center.
It has a razor wire, as befits a tool created to cut and not just to be displayed in display cases.

Higonokami - Kanekoma - 100mm Black - Made in Japan - Pocket Knife
The Kanekoma is a traditional Japanese knife, used for centuries by peasants for various farm work. Born of Japan's fine forging tradition, it combines simplicity and effectiveness, striking the perfect balance between form and function.
Its three-layered San Mai steel blade offers an exceptionally sharp edge: the hard core ensures cutting, while the softer outer layers impart strength and flexibility. This makes it a practical and durable tool, ideal for everyday work, from farming to woodworking.
More than a showpiece, the Kanekoma is a genuine example of craftsmanship, still prized today for its incredible quality.

Takeshi Saji - Kiridashi Seiryu - custom knife
