The 117 Brahma Pro knife is a versatile tool designed for hunting and outdoor activities. It is often referred to as the 'mini 119 Special' because it shares the classic style of Buck's first fixed knives. The ergonomic handle is made of natural canvas Micarta, which ensures a superior grip even in wet conditions. Takeshi Saji - Koinobori knife - red carp skin - PRIVATE COLLECTION - Craft Knife
Knife collected from a private collection in like new condition with original box - Knife made in 2017 by the famous Japanese knifemaker Takeshi Saji - The knife is supplied together with the sheath made by Saji, with an additional sheath made by the Italian cutler Simone Tonolli. This second sheath allows horizontal attachment to the belt. Checked and certified by our internal laboratory.
Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His workshop is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. The choice of materials for the finishes (mainly natural), the essential lines - evocative of use - and the chromatic combinations of rare impact make his creations unique and unmistakable in the panorama of world cutlery and, at home, they have earned him the prestigious title of Master.

Citadel - Nordic hunter knife - 288 - craft knife
Citadel - Nordic
These handmade knives are distinguished by their original but functional line, which is well matched to the traditional manufacturing techniques and the materials used.
The blades are in fact carbon-hardened to a hardness of around 40 HRC after which, after being hammered by hand, the back and sides are covered with clay and the wire tempered at 60 HRC to have excellent cutting capacity, penetration and flexibility. The knife is then polished and sharpened by hand on stone and finished in every single detail.Blade: DNH7 "Bruit de forge" selective hardening 40/60 HRC steel with file-worked spine

Takeshi Saji - Kurosameshotou traditional knife - handmade knife

Takeshi Saji - Kiridashi Seiryu - custom knife
