Boker - Vigtig Vs. Wild - 121509 - CPM-MagnaCut & Micarta - bushcraft knife
The steel chosen for the blade is Magnacut, which offers high toughness and tolerance to impact loads, despite its high chromium content of 10.7% and impressive hardness of over 62-63 HRC.
The handles are slightly flatter than the original Vigtig, and instead of the hollow studs, the two large screws can be easily removed with the help of a coin, revealing a large compartment with a depth of 14 mm compared to the outer dimensions of the handle, where tweezers, tinder, charcoal tablets, a fishing kit and safety pins, for example, can be easily housed. Even as a skeleton knife without handles, the Boker Vigtig vs. Wild, manufactured entirely in Solingen, makes a fine impression and underscores the versatility of this special model. It comes complete with a compact black Kydex sheath with clip.
