The Microtech Socom Delta knife is the next generation of this classic folder and the winner of the "American Made Knife of the Year" at the 2012 BLADE Show. The Socom Delta features Microtech's titanium sub-lock tab and G10 composite handles, 3D machined with a subtle yet effective texture. The handle has bead blast finished hardware, pocket clip and a titanium back-strap with lanyard hole. Torx T30 pivot adjustment screw. This Socom Delta has a Tanto blade of S35VN steel with a bead blast finish and a partially serrated edge. The blade is deployed with ambidextrous thumb studs. The fit and finish of the Socom Delta Tanto is excellent, just as you'd expect from Microtech. The Socom Elite M/A knife from Microtech has been reintroduced as a 2011 model. This is a manual action liner lock folder. It features a stonewash finished S35-VN stainless steel tanto blade and dual thumb studs. The green anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has carbon fiber inserts. The Socom Elite knife includes a glass breaker and tip-down carry pocket clip. This Socom Elite features a free floating lock and ceramic race bearing system! Microtech's Select-Fire is their 2011 offering in the D/A (Dual Action) market. While there are numerous Dual Action offerings among manufacturers, this design won the Most Innovative award at the 2011 Blade Show. This model features a button for automatic deployment of the side opening blade, a large liner lock, oversized thumb stud for manual deployement, index choil for higher grip allowing precision cutting, anti-slip thumb grooves, and a pocket clip. Microtech's Select-Fire comes with a tool to lock the knife's automatic capability rendering it a manual only operating knife.
