Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. In Norse mythology, Andhrimnir tirelessly took care of the physical well-being of the gods and the honorably fallen heroes, who thoroughly enjoyed their existence in the carefree warriors' paradise, Valhalla.

The Boker Plus Accomplice by John Gray is a very compact and handy EDC or reserve knife, which with its slim handle and the typical karambit ring at the end of the handle combines a high level of user comfort with the discretion of an excellent hand position. It can also be carried as a large neck knife. The G10 handles feature a textured groove and are fully contoured, so that the Accomplice virtually nestles in the hand. Whether in the home hearth, hunting lodge, garden, forestry maintenance, scout camp or bushcraft camp, the axe, one of mankind's oldest tools, is still an indispensable item for many activities. Some outdoor enthusiasts even prefer the axe to the knife.

Boker Plus Appalachian axes feature a Rhine-shaped axe head made of 1055 carbon steel, a choice that represents an above-average carbon content and material standard even for quality axes. The universal blade thickness is suitable for both felling and splitting. The lower tip (heel) of the 10.7-cm-long cutting edge can be used as a turning point for wood pieces. The steel is protected from rust by a protective lacquer. A versatile weight of 600g was chosen for the heads of both axes. The best American long-fiber walnut, far superior to European ash for breaking elasticity and impact resistance, was used for the handles. The handles are attached to the head with wooden wedge and steel sleeve. The two models Appalachian Big and Appalchian Small differ in the length of the handles.

The distinctive design, the Tracker concept with two separate blades, the impact-resistant 1095 carbon steel and the remarkable price-performance ratio quickly made Dave Wenger's Boker Plus Mini Tracker a top seller in the bushcraft and outdoor scene. The universal wide point blade with high saber sharpening has always been the hunter's favorite shape for both large and small game and is suitable for both precision and heavier tasks. The tang is continuous and protrudes a few millimeters from the end of the handle. This ensures maximum stability and the tang can withstand even powerful blows with a log or other object.

TPE - thermoplastic elastomer - was chosen as the material of the handle, which completely encloses the tang and has a structure that guarantees a good grip in any load direction. TPE is strong, elastic, non-slip and has low thermal conductivity.

The knife features a leather sheath featuring a 9.3cm metal firelighter from market leader Light My Fire, which fits into a large, snug leather ring firmly integrated into the piping.
