Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with The Fällkniven Phantom model, a folding knife that is not only aesthetically appealing but also functional, with well-balanced proportions between handle and blade.

The blade uses advanced Swedish powdered steel (Elmax from Uddeholm), equipped with a convex edge for maximum performance. The handle is made of ironwood harvested in the southwestern United States, known for its density (1.2 kg/dm³) that makes it heavy and strong enough not to float.

The design of the Phantom follows the Scandinavian principle of "Form follows function," favoring clean, classic lines without superfluous details. 

The Phantom comes in a gift box with a multifunctional leather case with a belt clip that can be worn either horizontally or vertically.

Magnum continues the tradition of its annual knives and presents the Collection 2023, a collector's knife with exceptional appeal. Lucas Burnley, considered one of the world's most renowned knife designers and who has already launched several successful knife series for Boker and Boker Plus, was won over for this special project. The Magnum Collection 2023 is an impressive full tang outdoor knife with a massive D2 blade that features a pronounced ricasso and an unusual two-tone finish. For this year's Damast Annual Knife we collaborate for the first time with Ricardo Romano Bernandes. Romano, whose family originates from Sicily, was born in Brazil, has been a knife maker since 1990 and his craft is part of a tradition of knife making and sharpening established over several generations. His design is based on traditional Pen Knives and immediately inspired us with its casual freshness.

For the modern interpretation of a traditional knife shape, the powder metallurgical damask of the Swedish company Damasteel seemed to us the appropriate material for the blade. Damasteel's production requires - even if the most modern technical means are used - just as much skill and experience as the hand-forging of steel. The purity and properties of Damasteel steel can be optimised to the extreme with complex combination processes.

The self-supporting structure in blue and grey rolled G10 contrasts beautifully with Damasteel's 'Odin Eye' motif. The simple but always functional slip joint is an obligatory part of this knife. The size, weight, indestructible G10 sheaths and stainless Damasteel make this collector's knife an excellent EDC. Limited to 999 examples worldwide.

Whether in the home hearth, hunting lodge, garden, forestry maintenance, scout camp or bushcraft camp, the axe, one of mankind's oldest tools, is still an indispensable item for many activities. Some outdoor enthusiasts even prefer the axe to the knife.

Boker Plus Appalachian axes feature a Rhine-shaped axe head made of 1055 carbon steel, a choice that represents an above-average carbon content and material standard even for quality axes. The universal blade thickness is suitable for both felling and splitting. The lower tip (heel) of the 10.7-cm-long cutting edge can be used as a turning point for wood pieces. The steel is protected from rust by a protective lacquer. A versatile weight of 600g was chosen for the heads of both axes. The best American long-fiber walnut, far superior to European ash for breaking elasticity and impact resistance, was used for the handles. The handles are attached to the head with wooden wedge and steel sleeve. The two models Appalachian Big and Appalchian Small differ in the length of the handles.

The various models of the Magnum Collection have been adorning the windows of countless knife enthusiasts for many years. This year's collector's knife was designed by Brian Efros of Colorado and combines well thought out construction with high quality materials and perfect workmanship. The full-time cutler has been designing and manufacturing his own knives since 2008 and is now known far beyond the country's borders. Full order booklets, perfect workmanship and individual implementation ensure that his hand-made pieces reach the best prices internationally.

The Magnum Collection 2022 is an outdoor knife with an extremely robust drop point blade in satin D2. The screwable titanium handguard and the pronounced indentation of the fingers prevent involuntary blade slipping and thus safety at work. The OD green grip scales of the full tang construction are made of textured micarta and are held in place by decorative titanium screws. The combination of ergonomic design and pleasing shape also offers an exceptionally fuller grip feel. This unique collector's knife is strictly limited to 1999 pieces worldwide. The great interest in Tirpitz-Damast damask over the years has convinced Boker to design another model supplied with the historic damask steel. The Boker Barlow Prime Tirpitz Damascus, much more compact than the original model, convinces not only in the collector's showcase, but also as a gentleman's knife. The blade made in the exclusive Tirpitz Damascus, is supplied with a modern elongated ricasso and opens with a nail notch. Damascus made with the material acquired from Tirpitz, sister ship of the legendary Bismarck which was the largest warship ever launched for the German Navy.

Soon after the end of World War II, a Norwegian specialist company began cannibalizing the ship, which sank off the Norwegian coast, in order to make the high-alloy steel available for civilian purposes. Norwegian divers recovered parts of Tirpitz's special armor from the fjord for Boker. From these pieces of living history, Damascus blacksmith Boker exclusively forges an extraordinary damask with a fascinating history. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steels also results in an extremely strong Damascus which, with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, is up to any task in everyday use.

The operational safety of the history-rich slipjoint pocket knife is further enhanced by a 90 degree locking mechanism when opening and closing. The characteristic teardrop shape of the Barlow is attributable to the English pocket knives of the seventeenth century, which certainly makes it one of the oldest models ever. The name of the classic probably dates back to an enterprising knife manufacturer from Sheffield of the same name, who began exporting the sturdy knives to North America around 1800. There they immediately enjoyed great popularity and so the first Barlow models also appeared in the history of the Boker Manufactory. Solingen at the end of the 19th century.

This integral version of the timeless classic with a contoured black micarta handle body, which is milled from solid and also forms the signature Barlow bolsters. neither. Handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
